ok i forgot to ask my doctor so i figured i would give it a shot on here.. how long did you guys wait after surgery?? i was 2 weeks yesterday and am feeling pretty good, but just a little scared... i dont want to screw anything up inside me . i know the band is not near there lol but you know what i mean!!

I waited about 4 weeks. I was scared to and did not want to mess anything up, plus my husband was a little nervouse too not wanting to mess anything up.

I asked the doctor about it during my two week check up, and she said feel free to do anything that I needed to at two weeks.

Hubby wouldn't come near me for two weeks! After that, we weren't exactly swinging from the chandeliers, but it was fine. Then, this week? Wahoo!! He said, "I felt your port" haha!! All is back to normal.

Were we supposed to wait????????

Just kidding, about two weeks worked fine for me, just didn't want to take any chances of tearing a stitch!

Well, I haven't had sex yet and I am 6 weeks post op but it has more to do with self esteem issues than surgery issues. I suppose I was probably "able" to about 2 weeks after.

about 4 weeks for us, but I don't live with my husband. (I'm in exile... )

Oh my, so soon, I was five months out on the 6th, I told my DH, only one more month to go, LMAO. Just kidding folks.

You all are too much. It is the first good laugh for days, Betty, your answer caught me off gaurd. I have to ask dr on Tues if I should have waiting longer than day 3 since he never said anything. lol

Too soon 1 week, not interested in any movement until staples out.

ok... so i did it this morning and all is well... just thought i would share with everyone..i am 2 weeks and 4 days..and feeling fine LOL:D

Glad that you are now "feeling fine"....hehe. I too waiting about the same time as you and everything was fine.
