for me-I doubt Id like Jillian in real life-shes just such a bitch who seems so fake and carrying a whole lotta emotional baggage of her own that i wouldnt appreciate her bringing to my life.Plus she hip poses too much-she always ALWAYS is posing and it drives me insane.Yes we all know it shows off your toned body well when you thrust the one hip to the side but geez enough already.

ugh I would haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate jillian being my trainer-she wouldnt motivate me at all-Id just end up bouncing that big silver ball in her face-lol. I like Bob-he would inspire me I think-he is tough but just more appealing personality wise for me.

ok heres the thing-he will most likely move past his love affair with food-I have.Its just not what it used to be-I was banded a few yrs ago and no he will never eat with joyful reckless abandon again..ever.its a hard road and not always fun but you realize food for many of us was replacing living life-we ate instead of did things-i was 214 and felt unhappy and lazy-now im healthy again 130 pounds and yes i often miss some foods but im glad to be active and self confident again.do i miss stuffing a big yummy burger and fries into my mouth?yeah sometimes-would i rather do that than have the band?nope!

anyone who puts up with people like carla and considers them friends-definitely has self esteem issues.

ok for me it was obvious from show 1 that Carla is a bitch-she is"friends" with joelle because joelle is a emotional mess and she can bully and control her-she practicly begged to go home so if they failed it could always in her mind be joelles fault-never liked her.i also think joelle has some serious issues-deep issues she needs to address-her personality implies some serious lifetime abuse and having been surrounded by pushy bullies her whole life.

omg I dont think Id EVER want to have AN kind of surgery in India-now granted this is a kneejerk reaction and I have not done any research on the facility or doctor but I have been to India and just dont rank it up there as being medically cutting edge so please please please make sure they trained under someone with over 300 lapbands and they have been doing it awhile.

honestly I think the time length has alot to do with whatever the BMI is-more test for heavier people it seems.I also think selfpay vs insurance is HUGE factor and US vs Mexico-all these seem to make big differences.If you are in the mood for a quick deal then selfpay to mexico-lol.

yeah I think my BMI was 27 so I know how you felt.I went to dr kuri in tijuana and was a selfpay-honestly I think money talks more so in mexico-they have lower judgments-he wanted me to be happy with myself not what everyone else thinks I should be happy with-i liked my surgeon and feel he was qualified.good luck

I did a PHONE consultation on a friday and was flying to San Diego on a Tuesday (I think-been 2 yrs) to have surgery in Tijuana on wednesday-so for me from 1st talk to final deal was a few days-was crazy quick-I didnt even decided to do it til the day before I even called him-it was nuts-once they get money they are ready to get to work.I hadnt even really thought about the surgery til the week before so Im one of those people that alot tell you arent good-I didnt do a yrs worth of homework on the situation but I never do so...lol.Dr Kuri is a reputable doctor so it went fine.I was also lucky to have the $$ in the bank at that time.

i dont watch the view but star is gross-she looks like a drag queen-to me she looked way better as "medium" star-"fat" star wasnt really attractive but medium Star was ok-skinny star looks ill.good riddance

I had a great time meeting ya'll and Im so glad Alex finally showed up and I got to meet her!! There were 3 bandsters including myself,2 hubbies(not mine)and Alex(a "investigating into having the band"ster)-we enjoyed each others company and Im totally glad I met everyone and hope to do again sometime!

for me I put salsa on virtually everything-it adds flavor to chicken and coats it to make for easy digestion-I also allow myself 2 popsicles a day when I want to eat and KNOW Im not hungry as Im a boredom eater and thats why I got fat in first place-lol This should be a good thread with lots of ideas
