Hi Kelli and Cate, My sister and I are being banded July 24 too! Welcome to the thread. Lynette & Chimboree Thanks for remembering. Hello Lucky 7's I miss a day on here and it take two to catch up with you all. Its been one *&^% of a week around here. My truck is still broke, my motorcycle broke too. My 13 year old collie had a major stroke and I had to have her put down. Could not leave her here with the kids and me gone for days. Not fare to her or them, but it broke my heart. Ok enough of the bad.. on the other hand I got the job I applied for and enterviewed for this week at OSU. Big pay raise from what I was making at the public school so I will be able to buy a new car if they don't get my truck fixed. And best of all I fly out at 8am Monday morning and have pre-op test tommorrow and get banded on Tuesday!!! I am so ready to get out of here and get this started! Good luck to everyone having it done this week. I'll be praying for all of us!

Yes, I found them. I only voted on the spouse one. I really don't care where we go. I've never been on a cruise so any where will be fine. I do have a passport and would love the chance to use it. At this point I would be happy to just get out of town! I've been working on this computer for days trying to get caught up on the books for my plumbing company. Never put off what you can do today. Tommorow may not come and if it does the pile of *&^% will just be higher! Hope everybody has a great day.

Needles Hwy is awsome! The whole trip was great! I'm really envious of everybody going this year. Looks like I won't be going anywhere for awhile. Ck engine light came on when I fired her up this weekend. She's not firing on the back cylinder so to the shop she goes! To top that off my truck broke down yesterday and the only wheels I have right now is my daughters 250. Get me around town but not good for the hwy. And all this when the rain finally stops. Well I've whined enough. Better get to bed. Take care everybody>

Did you check out the Lucky 7 thread? There is a calender posted with everybody in July that has posted there. How are you doing?

I voted to bring my DH, but I don't know if he'd take off work to go or not. I know it will be fun weather he is there or not!

Hi DIni, I'm still up, cleaning house. When I realised I only have one week left to get it done before surgery and I start a new job the week after surgery I decided I had better kick it in high gear! I feel like I'm having the new Mom nesting thing going on. Plus I'm trying to stay busy and out of the kitchen!

I am very excited about having her along for the journey! She on the other hand is worried that I will get to competitive about our weight loss. So I'm going to have to watch it. I do get very motived when she is losing and I'm not. She's afraid I'll be mad if she looses faster. I don't get mad I just work harder. I just never wanted to be the only fat sister, she said she has always been the fat sister so it doesn't matter to her. I can hardly wait till neither of us is fat anymore!

I have been trying to quit for almost a month. Some days I do good others I want to bite someones head off. I set a new quit totally date of Monday. I am going to get one of those things you breath in to after surgery and start doing some deep breathing exercise and try to get my lungs cleared out. They want you to quit because you will heal faster. I quit last year before surgery and was glad. Coughing when your gut hurts is no fun. Good luck. Thanks Lynette, about the water, I think I read some where that I have to sip the water too. How much can you all drink at once. I usually drink 3-4 32oz cups a day. Is it going to be hard to get all that in? Thanks laurend. That is really cool! Thanks chimboree! It sure makes it eaiser. Thanks for doing the calander. My date is listed wrong, My sister Debbie and I are having our surgery on the 24th. I have been raving about this site to her, hopefully she will come check it out for herself soon.

Thanks Lynette, I'm glad to know that and that you are doing so well. What is this stuff about being bloated after surgery? I am starting a new job on the 1st and have to wear dress clothes. I was hoping to be fitting in to some that are tight on me now. How long does the swelling last?
