  1. Welcome to bandland! It sounds like you are doing just great! It only gets better each day
  2. Good Luck, and keep us posted!
  3. Glad things are going so good for you! No cheating now, let that band heal up properly!
  4. I heard it was on, but I think they are starting it only in certain states for right now. I have been watching for it though, hopefully it will hit here soon.
  5. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. My doctor mentioned it to me, but I fought it for a year before I gave in. Now I wish I had done it back when he mentioned it to me.
  6. Great news! It will be here before you know it!
  7. Exactly, and the lapband is the only surgery I would even think about having.
  8. Welcome Bernie! Don't worry, you will start losing weight, sometimes it just takes more than one fill to do it. You might want to check your measurements too, when the scale doesn't move it seems like we still lose inches.

No, Trish, I didn't have to. I do know that lots of doctors does use Gatorade for that though.
  10. Welcome to bandland! I'm glad things went so good for you. It only gets better each day!
  11. Great news Crystal! Now, quit worrying for a little while and enjoy going home to be with your family! You deserve it!
  12. Great NSV's for both of you!
  13. Welcome to the land of real people! I think we all do that once in a while, and it is only human! You are doing great, and one day isn't going to kill you or undo everything you have done. When your cravings get so bad like that, have a little bit, sit down and truely enjoy every bite, then get back on track.
  14. Don't worry you are totally normal! Once the swelling goes down, you are wide open, just as if you didn't have your band. If you are hungry, eat more! This is a time for healing.
  15. Way to go Zoe, Congradulations! :banana :banana
  16. Estella - you are so close to your goal, and without changing all of your insides to do it! You can eat almost anything you want without the "dumping" that ryn goes through. By the time both of you are two years out, you will both have lost the same weight. I think you made the right decision! You day will come, "good things come to those who wait."
  17. Yes, it could be right, and congradulations! :banana :banana We all complain about the liquid phase, but it does bring good results.
  18. Jasper go to the following site and it might help you decide if you need another fill or not. lapbandtransformation.com/adjustments.htm
  19. Thanks, probably a 1x now or 18/20. I find that the Harley clothing runs really small compared to the other clothing, do you? I always have to try on everything I buy there as one size fits and the next one in the same size don't.
  20. I bumped a post on ports for you, maybe that question you want answered will be in there.
  21. I found mine at Walmart, it is labeled Extra Strength Tylenol Adult Liquid. It is Cherry Flavor and it is usually on the very top shelf. I have no idea why they put it up there, but it always is. It is a red box with blue highlights on it.
  22. I agree, it's best to wait and see exactly what they say and if the doctor can fix the problem. Good Luck!
  23. Congradulations to all of you!
  24. Good for you! I know it is so hard, but it will be well worth it in the end!
