When I called my doctor's office BEFORE I made my first appointment, I ask about the self pay prices and they told me what each thing would cost and even the hospital charges. I knew before I made my first appointment to even talk to him what all the charges would be. Sorry you had such a bad experience, if you continue to have problems with her I would mention it to the doctor when you see him.

I have met Paula, Lisa Green, Nancy, Marie, Ginny, and the famous Miss Leatha! I must say that they are all wonderful gals, and I had a great time with them!

They ride motorcycles here year round. A lot of people only own motorcycles so you see them riding in the pouring down rain. People here should be use to seeing people riding motorcycles all the time. They just drive too fast and are too busy talking on their cell phones! But everyone is right, lots of crazy things going on right now!

Good, at least she got a ticket! I don't know why they can get away with just saying that, I thought your car had to be in control at all times! I couldn't just say I didn't see the car and get away with it! It just burns me to no end!

Becky - If you are still losing, you don't need a fill! Don't rush it, you should only get a fill if you truely need one. Do you get hungry between meals? You have a lifetime for fills, so take your time and only get them when you actually need one. You are doing extremely well!

The other thing that bothers me is the cop chasing! Just yesterday a cop was chasing a truck and innocent people were killed because of it. I know these people were wanted by the police, but they just left a drug house, and now the junkies are in the hospital, (last I heard) going to live, but the innocent people around the area are dead! I think they need to do away with the chasing of vehicles all together. It seems like everytime they do a police chase, some innocent bystander gets killed! And, if the police come into my house or yard, they better not shoot my animal! They are on private property and have no right to kill my pets!

We heard about a motorcycle accident a couple of weeks ago, right down the street from where we live. A guy pulled out of a gas station right in front of a motorcycle! It killed the guy instantly! A week later, we found out it was a guy that lived on the street right behind us, and he was a father to 3 small children. It made me sick! I especially get mad when the driver of the car says they just didn't see them! Sure they did, they just thought they could beat them out so they wouldn't have to follow them. We have lots of motorcycle accidents here in Texas, and everytime they say they didn't see them. Something is wrong with that excuse everytime. I am sure there are times people don't see them, but not going down the street behind them! When we were going on a road trip last year there were 5 of us all on motorcycles. A woman kept trying to pass us but traffic kept comming at us. Finally she jumped out in the passing lane, and here come another car, so instead of hitting the car, she came over on top of all of us! We were all very lucky that we saw what she was doing, and that there was a shoulder that we all immediately went over on or we would have all been killed. I just want to shout "Watch where you are going, and SLOW your ass down a little bit!"

Not until the next time! How soon we forget!

Tanya good luck with your fill! I guess the gallbladder works differently for people just like the band. Nothing I eat affects my gallbaldder except gassy foods and they just give me extra gas! I already get lots of gas from the band, so I have to be careful with the gassy foods that affect the gallbladder. I just went and asked my DB if it greasy things affect him (he had his gallbladder out too) and he said no. He also said the gassy food doen't affect him either! Go figure!

Wow, Crystal, that is the first time I heard of that! Hmmmmm I don't have any problems with greasy things, but gasy things, well that's another thing!

It sounds like you are doing great and back on track! Good luck with your new fill!

I can eat any kind of meat, in fact I can eat any kind of food. I know some people have problems with steak or chicken, but you never know until you try it.

I talked to my Doctor about it and he said regular coffee is fine. There is a thread on here somewhere about it. I drink coffee everyday, couldn't get along without it!

Until you get your 1st or even 2nd fill, you will feel like you haven't had surgery. You are wide open right now! As you get fills, you will start to feel fuller faster. It is normal to feel the way you do right now.
