Suzy - I think we all go through all those feelings. Take some time and browse through all the new and older posts and you will see what most people go through. There is a lot of information on this board, and a lot of support too. It actually took me about a year before I gave in, I actually thought I could do it with diet too. I could lose weight, I just couldn't keep off the weight I lost, and I would always gain more weight back than I lost. Good luck, and please keep us posted on what you decide to do.
  2. Sue hopefully it just turned a little bit and they will be able to give you the fill at the hospital. You have done a great job with your band! Let us know how things go! Good Luck!
  3. Thanks for the update! And when she gets back to her room tell her I said Welcome to Bandland!
  4. Tanya - I have had 5 fills, and none of them have hurt me at all!
  5. Misty - Every doctor has his own rules, and it is best to follow what your doctor tells you. I only have to do liquids the rest of the day after the fill, then back to solids the next day. But, like I said, please follow your own doctors rules.
  6. Welcome Terri! Your day will be here before you know it. Keep browsing through all the new and older posts, lots of valuable information there for the taking. I was a self pay too, so it went really fast for me. Make a list of foods/juices you will need and get them in the house before your surgery. Just don't buy too much, you will not need as many as you think you will! Have fun at your wedding! By the way, what kind of racing are you into?
  7. You have done a great job with your band. I love your pictures, you need to go to the thread before and after pictures and post yours!
  8. I'll bump a thread about it for you
  9. Bumping for Esmeralda
  10. I didn't start losing my hair till I was 4 months out. After 2 months it started growing back in. It's just a temporary thing.
  11. Great, good luck with the move!
  12. Welcome Judy! I am not familiar with it either, but I am sure if anyone here used it they will be glad to help you out.
  13. Welcome! It is normal to have all the feelings you are going through now. Good Luck with your surgery, and we'll look forward to hearing about your surgery.
  14. Good Luck! You'll do just fine!
  15. It wasn't listed, and I wondered that myself, I have been trying it too.

  20. I agree with everyone else, set your own goal and then if you want to go down more you can set a new goal. You have to be comfortable with yourself.
  21. Good Luck Margo, and don't forget to post and let us know how everything is going for you!
  22. You both are doing great! That is cool that you are getting put on the Doctor's success stories!
