  6. I weigh in every morning first thing, feed the cats & get weighed.lol I don't let the numbers bother me one way or the other. I'm like the rest of the daily weighers, every time I didn't weigh, I had gained a lot of weight. I guess it is a head game and maybe I'll get over it or maybe not.

  19. I was banded Oct 15,2012 and very happy with my choice. Emotions are one thing that runs rampant through this whole process, but it's all worth it.
  20. If you've been cleared to eat anything, I just tried whatever I wanted and found out I can still eat anything, with a small enough bite and chew like crazy. I've never tried bread without toasting it b/c so many say they have trouble. I eat a lot of chicken, steam shrimp with sauce, steak, hamburger patties, Just made Zucchini Boats (recipe under food & nutrient) really good. Pretty much any veggies, poached eggs, Weight control oatmeal has 11gm protein a friend told me to add 1 egg white and get another 9 gr., That's 20gr for 1 bowl of oatmeal and very filling, most the time I can't eat but half. I think it's all about trial and error! Good Luck!
  21. Just glad I like my eggs over easy or poached b/c I have read dozens of ppl saying they can't do scrambled anymore. I love, love, love eggs, I'd hate not being able to eat them. Good luck with trying!
  22. My deepest sympathy on the passing of your dad! My dad died 14 yrs ago and I still miss him so. It doesn't hurt like it did, but still miss him. Glad your climbing back on the wagon, your dad would want you to do that. He's now your angel cheering you on, and we're all here to support you too! We can do this!
  23. I grew up in Venice and live in Englewood now. I had my surgery through Sarasota Bariatric's , who are run by Sarasota Memorial. They have a support group for their patients the first Thursday of every month. I started with their group, but got way more info here. PM me if you need any help with anything.
