I'm just begining my journey and would love to find a local support group, I'm planning on having lap band in St Pete's.

    I grew up in Venice and live in Englewood now. I had my surgery through Sarasota Bariatric's , who are run by Sarasota Memorial. They have a support group for their patients the first Thursday of every month.

    I started with their group, but got way more info here.
