  4. On a whim, I just weighed myself.. I have lost 13lbs since my March 6th pre-op. I LOVE MY BAND!!!!!
  5. Is it worth joining? I read a lot of post where it is mentioned, so i am just wondering.
  6. it was hiatal.......I think that is what has made recovery a bit tough. The funny thing is it didn't even show up on he barium swallow.
  7. The surgery went well and the doc repaired a MASSIVE hernia....the surgical nurse said that it was the largest she had ever seen...that made me feel all warm an fuzzy...LOL I must admit that I had two days of "OMG...What the h*ll did I do to myself?!?!" But I am starting to feel a lot better....no fill yet, but I am on creamy soups, etc until Wednesday and let tell you, it does not take much to fill me up. I totally think I can do this!

  15. I sure will...I have to be at the hospital at 8am.....With the combination of nerves and excitement, I am not too sure about how much sleep I will get tonight. LOL
  16. I am actually on the last day of my 7 day pro-op dirt......The first 2 days were rough, but I am kinda glad that I had to do one...I feel MUCH better then I have for a long time. Now i just have to get over the "OMG my surgery is tomorrow!!!!" nerves that I have. The doc starts on me at 10:30 am
  17. I am on day 4 of seven and I am actually starting to feel really good. My energy has picked up and I am not really bothered by the rest of the family eating pizza....but banana flavored sugar free popsicles are my friend at the moment!

  20. Well...it is the ene end of day 2 of my 7 day pre-op diet. I have a slight headache and a bit more tired then usual, but other then that I am doing ok....using my down time to get the house cleaned up a bit so I am not tempted to do to much after my March 13th banding.
  21. Yup.....It was one of the requirments for my doc.....but I only have to do one week of pre-op diet, so I guess it equals out. LOL.
  22. Mine was 1 week as well....I just completed my pre-op testing today.
  23. Today I had my pre-op testing for my March 13th surgery date, and let me tell you that the only thing that did not enjoy was the barium swallow....YUCK! You think that science would be able to make that stuff taste a bit better.
  24. I can relate. My date is March 13th and I am getting nervous.
  25. I spoke with the surgeon's office today and I have a surgery date of March 13th at 10:30am. I am WAY excited, but it seems that I am also a bit scared , now that I know that it is really happening. I keep asking myself...Am I doing the right thing? Will it actually work? Will I be able to stay on track? Both my husband and Dr keep telling me that everything will be fine and to stop worrying....and deep down inside I know that I can do this...that I will rock this band!
