3 Days Post Op!

The surgery went well and the doc repaired a MASSIVE hernia....the surgical nurse said that it was the largest she had ever seen...that made me feel all warm an fuzzy...LOL

I must admit that I had two days of "OMG...What the h*ll did I do to myself?!?!" But I am starting to feel a lot better....no fill yet, but I am on creamy soups, etc until Wednesday and let tell you, it does not take much to fill me up. I totally think I can do this!

Congratulations on the surgery :)

Was your hernia abdominal or hiatal? I have ongoing problems with abdominal hernias and currently have one the size of a grapefruit (not even kidding, ugh!)

it was hiatal.......I think that is what has made recovery a bit tough. The funny thing is it didn't even show up on he barium swallow.
