  2. It's the hardest part because you are right ... So much of our lives revolved around food. I am not much of a tv watcher... So I just always have a water bottle to sip on. I too carry my phone with me like heather... I have the etsy and Pinterist rnytalk apps which are my go-to s.... I wish there was a pill to take with our vitamins to take our minds off food... Lol!!!
  3. Good job... I did my usual 2 miles today... Added some incline on the treadmill.. Ready for this cold weather to go so I can go back to walking my neighborhood again!!!

  5. Surgery weight 340 Fridays weight 174 Total lost 166 lbs 9 lbs til original goal weight 16 lbs to revised goal weight!!!
  6. I haven't but you might want to look for something not so carby and lots of protein

  8. 10 months post op and I still get on the scale everyday.. Yes I am obsessed with it... Sometimes spend more time with it then my family... Lol I'm just kidding!!! Can't break the habit!!! Went from avoiding like the plague to waking up every morning to its greeting
  9. Heather... Please keep your chin up. I've been keeping up with your progress.. You are doing wonderfully and I know you think it should go alot faster. You need to exercise girl. I know you are exhausted when you get home but girl make yourself do it... It will increase your energy level I promise!!! Also increase your calcium. When I hit a long stall I did that and it helped... Or something did!! Hugs your way and we are all pulling for you! Also if you are eating any carbs.. Like mashed potatoes.. Avoid them like the plague this week!!!

  11. I want a tummy tuck and boob lift but will be happy even if I don't... I am not having to roll and stuff anything so it's not as bad as it could be. I like the way I am looking... With my clothes on!!! I will wait a year anyway just to give my skin a chance!

  15. Honestly the changes we have all been thru ... Our loved ones should tell us that daily!!! Shame on them for not!!! But we need to remember we are beautiful and hold our heads high!!
  16. Well I think February sounds like a great time. I had my surgery feb 21st and will be a year post op when you have your surgery. In my family we believe that everything happens for a reason. You may not know what those reasons are but someone does and the best possible outcome for you is for you to have surgery in feb. good luck on this journey... We are here for you!!!
  17. It's the hormones being released in the fat... We all go thru it... Hang in there
  18. Tuna is one of the hardest things to get down... Has to be super moist and I can only do about 2 oz... Seems like you wouldn't have to chew the heck out if it but in realty you do!!!
  19. Like worm said your pouch is still healing.. In about a week or two those nerve endings will be healed and you won't be able to consume that much. Take it easy for sure!!!
