  1. I did the same thing. It's very common. Just remember the mourning for food will continue after surgery and you will be mad because you cant go out and eat anything you want when everyone around you can. Good luck to all of you. This is a mental as well as very physical journey

  6. Tara First of all welcome to the boards. While I am beyond child bearing years, there are many on the boards going thru your same issues. And of course we have all suffered from weight issues. I am glad you have found us. Good luck on your journey. Kristy
  7. I had to pay a nonrefundable fee... not covered by insurance. I think so if you back out they are not out anything.
  8. Good Job!!! You need to post a before and after pic!!!
  9. I've not really thought about how late I eat. If I feel like I need something... I eat it. Usually late Im craving peanut butter... so I'll do a tablespoon of the planters nutrition... berry granola flavor seems to hit the spot.

  13. Wonderful news.. congrats!!!
  14. Most are new on here... or at least what I have seen. I hit my year mark on Feb 21st but have no experienced and yoyo weight gain. Maybe going back to basics and writing everything down??? Good luck and welcome to the boards
  15. You are not going to like what I am going to say but the reality of this surgery is that it is no Magical cure. You are 3 weeks out... You have to give your shocked body a chance to adjust to what you have done to it. Starvation mode is not uncommon at this point as you have eliminated alot of the calories out of your diet. You are going to have to be patient thru out this whole process... It takes time... Follow the protocol set out by your surgeon and the weight will fall off... Of the 166 lbs I have lost... There were many weeks where my weight just stalled out... But big picture is... I have lost 166 freakin pounds. Hang in there hun... It will come off!!! As for still feeling hungry. The nerve endings of your new pouch are still healing... It will come... Find something else to occupy your mind.. It does help
  16. Bless your heart girl... I hope it's nothing serious
  17. I'm so glad you made your goal weight. You must be very proud. And you better stay a part of this group... We need you girl!!!
  18. about months 2-4... it does seem wierd to be happening to you now...
  19. I certainly wish we could refrain from using the word "retarded" on this board. There are many on here with special needs children whom we love and feel that it is inappropriate terminology to describe someone who is ignorant. With that being said KellBell... know that you are well on your way to becoming the new you and no one and nothing is going to stop you. Keep your head up and keep following the path you have chosen.
  20. I dont recall exactly when we were allowed... but do know I probably started around month 5. Quest bars... any flavor but strawberry cheesecake
  21. Thats one smart mama!!! Congrats on your loss so far!
