Does Anyone Else Feel This Way??
I have not been banded yet, but i too have an emotional attachment to food...i need the band to help with my obesity related health issues..but i do wonder how or what i'll substitute for food when i am bored, upset or stressed. It will be a learning experience, but is all for the positive for me and my family! Thanks for posting..glad to know there are others out there like me!

The seminar I'm attending is May 14th. I am also looking forward to getting info on the process. Let me know what you think! @ Grandcherokee If my insurance said they'll cover it, does that mean they'll cover the fills too? Geeze, i never thought they wouldn't cover the fills! Don't think I could do it if I had to pay out of pocket..

Any Regrets?
I just signed up to attend a 2 hour seminar for having a Lap Band procedure done. I'm 38 years old and have 2 kids. I guess what got me interested in the Lap Band are the studies done that show how it can reverse Diabetes. I was diagnosed with type 2 during and after my 2nd pregnancy. I also have severe sleep apnea as well as other medical issues. I feel I'm way to young to have all these problems! I have been struggling to lose weight for the past 6 years and being on Insulin isn't helping. Has anyone on this site regretted the decision to having the Lap Band done?
