Which ones are best tolerated after surgery? I bought the unflavored pills that you have to swallow because I don't know which flavored I'll like after surgery. But now I'm wondering if I'll even be able to swallow the whole pills.

I take something called new life bariatric vitamin powder. It has every vitamin we need. I add it to my protein shake and I am done with vitamins for the day and no pill swallowing.

I have bariatric fusion. they have everything in them. they are chewable. makes it easier.

i buy these morsels of chocolate from the vitamin shoppe that have 500mg of calcium citrate per piece. 60% cacao. its like a treat 3 times a day!

My docs office said its ok to dissolve calcium citrate in water to take it if you can't tolerate it any other way.

Think I might see if they'll let me exchange the hard pills for the chewable ones. They're huge and I'm not sure I will be able to tolerate them.

i tried swallowing the pills at 5 weeks out and it got stuck! worst pain ever.. took a 12hrs to dissolve! don't risk it.. my nutritionist said use the chewable ones till 3 months out till you're all healed. looking forward to that point cause it'll be so much cheaper!
