  12. Ok having phone issues. I am trying to reply about the leg/foot cramps. I had a few after surgery but I have had them in the past as well. It is typically low potassium and I have discovered the most amazing cure. It's drinking pickle juice. Just a few sips and it instantly goes away. You don't have to drink gallons of it. It might sound gross but I swear it works. My nephew has grown so fast, he is 6 ft tall and only 13, he would get leg cramps terrible so I told him to try it and it also worked instantly. So give it a try and let us know!

  14. You are not a spoiled brat!!! I'm proud of you for getting out of ur house for a bit! We all have gone through emotional ups and down in the first few weeks after surgery. Take it easy on yourself! Don't get bogged down with baggage. Just follow ur doctors guidelines and the rest will happen for you! Good luck and God bless!
  15. Jessica please don't be discouraged! You are doing wonderful! If u think about it. Since your surgery you have lost 21 pounds. It doesn't matter that some was water it was still weight in your body that ur body had to work to shed. Just breathe and trust ur husband, yourself and your surgery. Remember this is a marathon not a sprint. Granted it will be a faster marathon but ur still not gonna lose all your weight in 1 month. Your gonna get there just remember that you have to relax a little. Let ur husband give u a hug and maybe get outside and go for a walk if weather permits.

  19. I'm smelling things too. I think it's because we r not eating anything that is full of hormones and additives/preservatives. My sinuses have never been so clear. I usually have a lot of allergies and I have none right now. Also, I'm having no asthma symptoms. So I just think we are cleaned out due to our weeks of liquid diet and so much water. But it's just IMHO
  20. I am 11 days post op and doing fine surgery wise but over the weekend I over reached for something on a shelf and felt a pull in my under arm. I woke up Monday morning at 4:30 with wretched pain from my sternum around to my back just behind my arm pit. It hurts to breath, move, sit, sleep. I feel a little better today but if I breath deep or move quick it feels like someone is gonna rip my breast off or stabbing me in the under arm. I even started taking my pain meds again every four hours. I actually feel worse than my surgery. Ugh. I'm tried of feeling pain. Also I wish I could take some Aleve for muscle spasms. Just had to vent and complain a little.
  21. Also, you can make them yourself. Just google cheese crisps.
  22. I've never bought them but I have seen them at Kroger in the deli/cheese area. I bet HEB sells them and Central Market. They are a specialty type item at better groceries.
  23. So how r u 10 days out. I'm doing pretty good, my incisions are itchy and I pulled a muscle in my chest/underarm that's a challenge. But other than that I feel good. Oh yeah, also I'm ready to eat something. Tired of drinking all my meals. How r u getting along?
  24. I had my surgery 1/18 last Friday. I'm feeling good pain wise. Getting my protein and water in. In fact I really feel like eating something. Tired of drinking. But my biggest complaint is I'm just so tired. I slept 10 hours last night and feel like i could go back to sleep. Some days I do and take a 3 hour nap but then cant get to sleep at a decent hour at night. I just have no energy. Been making myself walk for 20-30 minutes a day though. Anyone else have this problem? Is this normal? Oh also i am taking my vitamins.
  25. Put taco seasoning in the meat mixture and use salsa instead of ketchup.
