  1. Cmarie... Trust me when I say, no one used to hate exercising more then me. I loved sitting on the couch eating my life away. It's all about changes in all aspects of our life. Keep doing it and trying new things. I love walking but not around a track which is why I do a neighborhood. Keep trying different things. Eventually your body will crave some sort of exercise. It really does!!! Keep your chin up you will find something that works for you. And it definatly increases weight loss or at least inches lost when the scale doesn't move.
  2. I'm gonna add one thing to this thread and then could really careless if I see anything again. I have been on these boards for awhile. Anyone who sees kaylees posts and actually reads them knows she is a no nonsense young woman who is passionate about wls. I think the original poster should have taken all the criticism and suggestions and used them to make better decisions. Lets face it we are all here for a reason and to be frank... We are all or were fat! Stay on the program and work the tool!!! Good luck to you on your journey but to those bashing kaylee aren't you really acting shamefully like you accuse her of doing?
  3. I'm the same way mommytyree... So much energy!!!
  4. First of all congrats on the weight loss!!! I don't like to lift weights or anything like that... But found a route I like to walk outside and faithfully do it everyday no matter what the weather... Key is find something you really like and just get off your butt and do it!!!!
  5. Awww you look great! We just took family pics today and they were the first ones I ever took where I didn't feel like I was just huge!!
  6. Panda... I just want to say you look awesome... Your profile pic makes me smile everytime I see it... Such a beautiful smile!!!
  7. Bbdoodle... Dying to see some pics of you.. Think our surgeries must have been around the same time.. Isn't it weird being so close to goal?
  8. Welcome to the boards Rhonda there are several on here who have had the revision or are in the process of getting it. Stay away from the crap food and you won't dump. Rny is a tool to help you lose weight. The things I worry about is getting all my protein in and exercising. It will all come together... Again welcome to the boards!!
  9. First 2 weeks I was so out of it I couldn't tell you what I ate. Staying hydrated is the most important thing right now!!!!!
  10. Omg Ellie thanks for my giggle of the day!!!
  11. For every plateau I have to up my exercise just a tad for the scale to move. I'm not a heavy weight lifter. I walk because that's what I enjoy doing.
  12. Don't have a Kroger here but ill look on their website... Thanks
  13. From what I have read it takes at least 3 weeks for all the nerve endings to heal in your stomach... Until then you should measure everything that you put in your mouth. I sill measure everything. Most times I never finish what I measure out!!
  14. You have come to the right place. If you haven't done so already I would suggest getting an app like my fitness pal where you can track everything you put in your mouth. Remind yourself every day why you had the surgery. At this point you should find other ways to relieve stress... Exercise is a great way... Even if its just walking. You might want to think about seeing a therapist if you aren't already. The mind will trip us up more then anything. This tool is a great opportunity to change your life but you have to want it. Come on girl don't fall back on old habits... You got this
  15. what a great feeling... congrats!!!
  16. That's a first for me Ellie... I had not heard of a doctor saying to lower protein. Just FYI... I was in a 3 week stall and upped my calcium and exercise and lost 3 lbs.. I was like wth.. But somewhere I read calcium helps promote weight loss and I love those Carmel calcium chews anyway so ill keep doing it. You are doing so well and are an inspiration to many!!
