  3. Hello, im 9 months post op and I was on the depo shot for almost 2 years now and two months ago I stopped depo thinking it would take me a year to become fertile and have a normal period again ( havent had one in ovee two years ( I have a 2 year old son). Well im afraid im pregnant. Im not due for my period for 10 days still but im very tired and my boobs are so sore and tender. I just have this gut feeling im pregnant...
  4. I have the same issue and ive had blood work done and everything shows up normal. Its always interesting to see what new bruises show up. I had rny in january 2013 and never bruised like this before surgery.

  7. So all day yesterday I was not feeling well. My body was very weak to the point that my husband and son couldnt touch my leg without me being in pain and I had a major headache. Last night I was sitting on the couch and got major chest pain on my right side. Husband brought me to hospital to find out I had viral myositis. They gave me pain meds and sent me home. All day today ive been in a lot of pain, when I try to eat I throw up and or dry heave for 15 minutes. Now even drinking water makes me throw up or atleast dry heave I cant seem to win

  12. I had rny in january 2013- ive been snacking and not watching portion sizes. I wanna go back to the basics before I start gaining weight again. Would it be bad to go back to the liquid diet and than start the beginning diet like after surgery?
  13. I had rny gastric bypass at st lukes hospital by doctor el chaar on january 22 of this year. Im so happy wit my decision. Recovery took about 2 weeks to feel somewhat normal again. I was off my pain medicine by the first week and a half. The last few days I only took them at night to sleep

  15. Congrats! Thats an awesome birthday gift to yourself
  16. Thank god I'm not alone on this one! My husband and I had both agreed we didn't want our son to be an only child but since the surgery all I can think about is all the pregnancy weight I would gain if I got pregnant again.i feel bad for my husband because he really wants a second child. My husband just keeps saying to get off my birth control ( depo) and if we get pregnant we get pregnant. Part of me freaks out about that because I've only been post op for a few months and second the weight gain... Urg
  17. I guess I will start off by saying that I had rny surgery in January of this year and the last couple months my husband has been talking about wanting to have a baby. We already have a 2 year old son. Since starting this wls journey in November 2012 I have lost a total of 81 pounds. Just this week I finally hit 199 pounds ( first time being under 200 in years). Part of me doesn't want to have another pregnancy because I'm afraid of the weight gain and that I won't lose the baby weight and I've worked so hard to get where I am now and want to continue until I get to my goal weight and part of me feels guilty for not wanting another child because I don't wanna gain any weight. Anyone else feel this way or am I just being selfish. I'm so afraid to go back to the way I was before this journey started.
