Stress will make the band tight. Plus if you had a hard time eating, that could have irritated it. Try doing liquids for 24 hrs, then mushie foods, slowly go back. As long as you can keep water down and stay hydrated you should be ok to wait to go to your doctor. But if you can't drink you will need to get an unfill now. Good luck.

No Fill...normal To Be Able To Eat Lots?
- Not Much Weight Lost And Hi Yall
Ok Whitney, this may seem a little harsh and mean but I think you might need a little tough love. It sounds like you are only putting in a half ass attempt at this. The band is only going to do for you what you allow. We all could eat more that 1 cup of food but we stop at a cup. You log your food Monday - Friday. What happens on Sat & Sun? Free for all?? And you only log the food not the calories, etc.? Do you want this? Cause it doesn't sound like it to me.... That being said, it's time to change. Tomorrow is a new day and the beginning of your new life. You will get a ton of tips from everyone here. We are all here to help. I KNOW YOU WANT THIS & CAN DO IT!! We believe in you and will support you every step of the way. Sorry if you feel I'm being too mean. I say it all with love.- Shopping..
That is so exciting! Makes shopping fun like it is suppost to be. Congrats!!- 1 Year With The Band
What an amazing journey. Congratulations on your success. You are an inspiration to us all. Thanks for sharing.- What's Wrong With Me
- Question
I'm 7 months post op an have no problems eating pasta or bread. Everyone is different, it's trial and error for us. If you do try take small bits and chew like crazy.- Hello From Texas!
I was banded by Dr. Alex Esquivel in Feb. It was the best thing I did for myself. Welcome to this forum and a new life. This is great place with wonderful support.- Hello From Texas!
I'm in Austin too. Who is your doctor?- You Had Your Surgery And ..
I'm loving me!!!! It has been so very long since I felt good about myself and now, I truly enjoy being me. I wear cloths that are fitted (no longer wear tents), I enjoy exercising (I can't believe I just said that) and I love the looks I keep catching from my husband. I love my band cause it got me to love me again!!!!- Just Started The Journey - Am Really Excited
The scale is an addiction! I keep thinking, ok I'll weigh myself once a week......I still get on it once a day, sometimes twice. lol- What Would You Do?
I agree with oneangel. I would wait to have another fill after my vacation. You do not want to be on vacation and not able to eat. You would be miserable.- Just A Thought...do We Self-Sabotage Ourselves Sometimes?
You are not the only one. I do the same thing. It took me over 1 month to get under 200 lbs. I was at 201 and couldn't break it. I did everything I was supposed to do but in my head I kept thinking I will never weigh under 200. Once I finally hit that goal, the weigh started coming off again. Now I'm stuck at 190, same problem.... my head is stopping me. Uggghhhh.- Tightness Fluxuates?
Yes completely normal. Plus you will find some days its tighter than others there are many causes for this TOM, weather, stress, etc.... one bandster said her band was like a toddler you never know what you are in for. I've been banded for 7 months, comfortable with my restriction, loosing weight yet today my band is so tight that I'm doing liquids. Yesterday I could have eaten a horse, who knows what tomorrow will bring. It keeps us on our toes.- Is Salad A Red Flag Food?
I eat salads all the time without any problems. I have read posts where people have had issues with some lettuces, and say the darker greens are easier on the band. I have never had an issues and eat all types of lettuces.- Had A Revelation This Morning!
I agree with therealme, I am also 7 months in & 60 lbs down. I eat anything I want. The big difference is I don't want the junk. I want to not have to take meds for my blood pressure, I want to wear a bathing suit at the beach with a smile, I want to run and play with my daughter, I want so much that the junk foods stopped me from having. That being said, I do have treats every once in a while. All in moderation.- Excited And Nervous...
Congratulations on the beginning of your new life & welcome! You will find a lot of helpful information & support here. Enjoy your date with hubby, you deserve it!- Vitamins
Everyone has their own preference when it comes to Protein shakes. I like Adkins Advantage for premade and unjury for powder. As for Vitamins I take EcoDrink every day, its a powder you mix with Water so its liquid. I get it at Sams. My nutritionist appoved it for me. I don't like the gummy ones.- Too Tight Or Stuck?
I agree with Karen & Mis. Also some people have problems with eggs.- Made It To My First Goal!! Yay
Have a day at the spa and celebrate your new ONEderland!- New To Forum-Pre-Band
Not vain at all. It makes you feel good and that is important. I have to agree with tmf, there is no way you will be able to attend class the night of the procedure. You will be so out of it.... Please reconsider that.- List Of Items I Need Post-Op?
Carolinagirl nailed it. The only thing I would add is fill your scripts from your doctor and get some GasX just incase you need it, oh and a good book to read.- My Fitness Pal And Daily Calorie Allowance
I try to stay under 1200 cal, but more inportant is getting at least 60g of protein. I also have a treat day once in a while & that usually ends up at 1500 cal. Fine what works for you & your body.- Back To Old Habits And Dont Know What To Do, Help??
Great post! Don't beat yourself up, tomorrow is a new day!- 1St Personal Goal Achieved!
