  4. I would like to thank everyone for their feedback, this journey has not been an easy one, everyday is still a struggle with food but i am so happy that i had lapband surgery, my doctor seems to be pleased with my progress so therefore that makes me happy, who knows maybe months or a year from now i will be at my goal weight of 165, i wish everyone the best on their journeys as well
  5. Hey Moon, thanks for responding, wish you the best of luck as well
  6. hi everyone, i just dont understand how it is that i can still be able to eat whatever when alot of others can't, i had lapband w/ plication on 7-25-11, i have 6.25cc in my band, i am still able to eat bread (i only eat it occasionally), salads, and chicken with no problems, i have some friends who are having trouble keeping anything down with less cc's in their band, is there something wrong with me, should i be having trouble with these things, i would love to hear some feedback, thanks
  7. So Wed July 25th was my 1yr bandiversary, I may not be where I want to be but I am alot closer to it, I will continue to work hard everyday to reach my goal, I am happy with the 40lbs that I have shed, now just wanting to shed about another 40lbs, lapband surgery was the best life changing decision that I have ever made, I owe a big thanks to my support system~my fiance', parents, family members, friends, coworkers, my surgeon and their staff, and last but not least the people on this forum~Thank you all!!!
  8. thanks ladies, i definitely wont do that again, it is very hard on the mental health, i knew better but did it anyways, when i first started on this journey the weight seemed to drop so easy but now after losing 40lbs i am at a stopping point & have been for several months, i have 5.75cc in my band, i have 40lbs left to loose coming up on my 1yr bandiversary, i just want to hit goal
  9. i weighed myself this evening just to see my progress bc i have been working out so hard and eating good but boy ol boy did i get a rude awaken, such a big disappointment (5lbs wt gain), hoping some of that is from the bloatness of my TOM, i am so stupid for doing that
