I Am Really Starting To Miss Food!
I don't care about food...beyond getting in the necessary calories and protein. I don't have any cravings or 'head hunger'. I am pretty ambivalent about the whole thing.

Is My Sleeve Broken?
Uh...why are you eating chips and crackers? Is this just a joke? Well, before I lambasted for being snarky, I have to say if this is a serious post...you're in trouble.

How Do You Manage It All?
I admit I DON"T manage it all. Even before surgery, I had a hard time remembering to drink. It is a conscious decision on my part...everyday. As for the Vitamins...what a disaster! They make me sick to my stomach. I take them, and they just sit there, threatening to come back up. The taste lingers, and I barely keep them down. As a result, I do not take them as scheduled. I know better, and I am trying to get the mental and the physical in sync.

New Clothes
So happy for your loss...have fun shopping!!! Sitting here, almost 1.5 months post-op, I have a real hard time believing I will ever be shopping for clothes that small (10s and 12s). I am in a MAJOR stall, and it's pretty demoralizng.

For Those Who Weigh Every Day -
WOW! I also weigh until it 'seems right'! I think I am suffering that cross-addiction they tell us about...I have given up food for a scale/weighing addiction!

Am I Alone!?!?!
I feel the exact same way about food...It's just something I need to do...not want. I haven't had any real cravings or desires. I'm not upset about it. I hope it helps the weight elt off!

Jerks.
When you put things out there for people to comment on, you must be prepared for all answers. I don't know you personally, so I am not commenting on your character...only on the facts YOU presented to us. YOU asked if we thought you were overreacting! WhenI made the comment about possibly alienating people, I meant it. You have made a life-changing decision to better your health...as did we al. That does not mean the rest of the world must fall into line and do what is best for us. You will be around food for the rest of your life. The sleeve is not a panacea for what ails us, it is a wonderful tool to help us regulate our eating. Part of this process involves dealing with the world around you, and that means how others eat. If I am going out to dinner with others, I DO NOT expect them to eat 3oz of food to make ME feel better! That is so unrealistic! Instead of being annoyed at others (not YOU per se) take it as a challenge! I have been out to dinner ,attended a big wedding, went to a birthday and graduation celebration, and there was TONS of food at each event. I just ate my food, and kept it moving. I was proud of myself for sticking to the plan. Am I perfect...HELL NO! But this is a looong, bumpy road...get used to it, and keep your eye on the prize

Out Of Curiosity.....
I felt a little something. On one night, I had a glass of chardonnay, and limited myself to just the one because I was driving. I enjoyed it, but was conscious about feeling 'tipsy'.

Jerks.
Sorry, YOU are the one that should leave if you can't handle others eating certain foods. I don't mean to sound harsh, but that is the reality. They are NOT responsible for YOUR issues with food! Perhaps you were just a little irritable that day. At any rate, I would curb the attitude or you will be eating alone for the duration of your time with that company!

Out Of Curiosity.....
I am 1.5 months post-op, and so far I haven't had more than one drink...on three occasions. And this is coming from a girl who enjoyed a good happy hour!
