  1. I got tired like that for almost a month! Take it easy!!
  2. I was told a couple of weeks and you could tear something if you do.
  3. I am right there with you! I am having a really hard time and I get my first fill tomorrow! Hoping it helps at least a little!!!
  4. They said crush or chew all pills for me. I have been following what they say with no problem.
  5. I like isopure...25 grams of protein in every scoop. I like to do two scoops in the morning with skin milk for even more protein. Then I don't have to worry throuout the day if I will get enough...and zero carbs in the powder.
  6. I couldn't play with my kids anymore like I used to. I couldn't get up and down off of the floor without wearing myself out. I had sleep apnea and had to get on a machine to sleep. I had High cholesterol and blood pressure. And I was In the plus size clothes and just didn't recognize mysel anymore.
  7. I'm about six weeks out as well and still having a lot of gas! In a teacher too!!! Don't want to go back!
  8. My surgeon said no more pills ever.
  9. I was told not to take any pills.
  10. My surgeon gave me a kit from lapband. You can register your band and they send you a card that says you are banded. Haven't used it yet, but apparently some places let You buy off of the kids menu or pay a reduced fee at buffets.
  11. I was banded a little over a month ago. I am down 30 lbs, but just gained back 4 over a weeks vacation. My mom is Considering the surgery, but I told her it isn't a quick fix! We still have to be mindful of what we eat, Don't eat the wrong things, and she Would have to find a way to exercise. Even if it is swimming or walking for 15-30 minutes a day! I understand injuries, but there Has to be a Way for you to get moving. I have a recumbent bike that I love! I love sweets too and that Is why I gained the 4 lbs back! It's hard Work, but I know it can be done. Just find your motivation somewhere.
  12. I would say that each week gets better. I am a little over a month out and am back to normal.
  13. Sip REALLY slow all day. That's the only way I could do it. Tiny sips. My surgeon explained drinking water as if it were hot tea...that slow!
  14. I was on clear liquids for a week, then full liquids, then mushies, and then real food. Each took a week. When I went on full liquids I was allowed to have very runny grits. One time I didn't have them runny enough and got very nauseous and vomited. I think if we Do too much too soon we have these problems. It can hurt your pouch so be careful!
  15. You look amazing! I hope to be there soon!
  16. Nobody was apologetic to me!!! Lol, my family ate around me like it was nothing!!!
  17. Ok... I flew back to fl today. I was super stressed for some reason. Flight got a little bumpy and the beginning of the flight was pretty rough put of logan airport!!! Anyway, I did get a little tight. Not sure if it was the altitude or stress. I flew last week with no problems. I went through security again with no issues at all. I really think my tightness was from my stress and it wasnt really a problem, just was aware of the tightness.
  18. I get hiccups if I eat too much...I think my satisfied comes way before The hiccups.
  19. I was banded 6/14. Didn't know anything about the sleeve until after my surgery. I have been doing ok with the band. I am down 30 lbs from my pre band and pre op diet weight. It is still hard work, but worth it.
  20. I was banded 6/14. Pre-op diet had me doing the same thing! My dr suggested benefiber to bulk things up. They have a sugar free one. It may continue after surgery and on the post op liquid as well.
  21. I think it's a lesson we all have to learn!
  22. I agree with May123. I have done that before.
  23. I am a stomach sleeper so I was miserable when I couldn't! It took me several weeks. I started out using pillows to support my belly and kind of sleeping on my side/belly. I am about 5 weeks now and can sleep any way I want!! Try a body pillow of another pillow on your side under your belly...kind of gave me the illusion I was on my belly I think.
