  1. Sex? Yes, please! 50 Shades of Grey? I'll wait for the movie...lol Oh wait...they already made it...it's called porn.
  2. Sounds like you got it going on!! Congrats and keep on keepin on!
  3. I'm going to have to agree with Jean on this one. It sounds to me like you may have more than one addiction and yes they are addictions.....don't kid yourself. YOU aren't in control. I would highly suggest seeking assistance with the other substances. In turn when you do have lapband you'll be much more successful. Discuss all of this and be honest with your Dr, Psych, and above all else...yourself. I have experience with both and while yes, there may be a very select few who have managed, they are the exception to the rule. Think about your family memebers whom you have lost. Marijuana is a carcinogen and make no mistake is not good for you. Alcohol is really no different than a candy bar....you can have it, but you really shouldn't. I wish you good luck and hope you do what is right for you. In the end it is up to you. X
  4. For me, my stomach just feels full. I've mastered the slow eating so it doesn't take much to get me there.
  5. My doc advised me to avoid bread and rice...I haven't touched it since being banded. I'm not one to take risks.
  6. I was pondering and very curious if anyone has experience with this or has any thoughts on the subject. Ok, so I personally have always been attracted to plus sized women. My wife, who has also been banded recently, is a plus sized woman. What I wonder is will my sexual preferences change?...as I become thinner will I also be more attracted to thinner women or will I still be attracted to plus size? Will my wife still be attractive to me? I also wonder, will she still find me attractive? I've always been a big guy and while I know I may not look like brad pitt or have six pack abs, will she find me less attractive as a smaller man? I appreciate all your thoughts, Thanks Roby
