I know you must be tired of hearing it but I made a post just like this minue the allergy, mine was with a drain. It gets better!!! I am now almost 5 weeks out and I feel good! You will too! You have a lot of support here!

My doc sent me home with liquid vicodin. Maybe yours can give something like that. I hope it feels better soon!

I have a 10 year old and she asks a lot of questions! I told her the doctor was going to make my tummy smaller so I can't eat as much. She asked how and I said with a special tool. She was afraid of the word surgery for some reason but that satisfied her.

My doc says liquid but I am only 5 weeks post op.

I agree with those who say you need the practice. I would maybe suggest going dutch if you KNOW you are not interested. Also, I agree that you cannot help who you are attracted to and who you are not but this could end up being your best friend. You just don't ever know! Good luck and get out there!!

I had surgery on June 13th and stalled for almost 2 weeks! Uuugh!

Your surgery will be over before you know it! First I want to say that you are a very pretty young lady and you have a whole life ahead of you to LIVE! The pre-op diet and the first week of post-op are difficult but you've come so far and already jumped the obstacles that have been hurdled in your direction! You've got this!! Keep us posted!

I had the cookies and creme one and it's really sweet but I liked it.

I'm glad I am not the only one who is hungry. I get full and the next thing I know, I'm hungry!

I am 4 weeks out today and worry about the same thing. I feel like I can eat 4 ounces. Do you get hungry within an hour or 2 of eating?

I think it's mostly trial and error. My only problem has been drinking too much water at a time because I have been so dang thirsty. It makes me nauseous. Other than that, foods have been tolerated well! Consider yourself lucky!

I'm jealous because I'm stalled at 35lbs but kudos to you!!!!

I have seen some gastric peole who do look older because they got too skinny. However, there are some beautiful people on this forum that have lost a lot of weight and look amazing! I really think it depends on the individual.

I had my surgery on June 13th. It was my very first ever surgery and other than the gas pain I didn't really have any pain!

You are exercising and muscle weighs more than fat so check your measurements before you get discouraged.

I continued my breathing exercises. Are you? I felt like it was helpful. They told me I could develop pneumonia from not clearing my lungs. Good luck and keep us posted!
