  10. @ ChristyLove-My 14 year old niece told me something yesterday that she heard on Oprah and I knew I would be able to pass along since I loved it so much! The rapper 50 cent said "Don't for something and then worry about it". I LOVE it!!! @Discordya-Regarding the spinach...I do not have any plans to eat much of it again! hahah I have read your blog and so excited everything is working out for you!!! @Awesome-Thank you!!! I couldn't think of anything clever and didn't want to use what a lot of other people are using and the this popped into my head! I am definitely changing lanes!!! I thought about the spinach and the liver shrinking but I reckon since it has so much fiber and not carbs it ok. If he would have told me to stand on my head in the corner I would have! Good luck and be good with the juice!! hee hee

Okay, okay! I lied but not intentionally. I said I would not neglect my blog and what have I done? tsk, tsk, tsk. I have my surgery Wednesday morning and I am starting to become a chicken! I don't just mean a little nervous I mean full on growing feathers! Eeeek! All I can think about right now is if I am making the right decision to let some man cut more than half of my stomach off. I will say that I have lost 14.5 lbs so far! Woohoo! Of course it's been tough but worth it. Also, on a body the size of mine no one (including me) can tell. Tomorrow I plan to spend the morning wrapping up some loose ends and then hanging at the pool with my 10 year old since Mama won't be able to swim with her for 2 weeks. Now, if you do not want to endure my venting you may stop reading So, my husband is active duty in the Army and came into town for my surgery. He decided he wanted to eat out (we were already out). i suggested the ONLY place that I could eat, which was Boston Market because they have non-creamed spinach and water. He INSISTED on Golden Corral. Well....we all know that is a buffet!! Seriously? Your 300 lb wife sitting and watching you eat from a buffet while I have a cup of spinach and some water??? To add sprinkles on top he made a trip to the dessert bar. I was soooooooo mad!!!!! Uuuugghhhh!!!!
  12. Who did your surgery? I am in Cypress!
  13. I wanted to quote everyone's comment on this thread!! i am so excited to have such a positive and excited to have surgiversary with!!! i will keep everyone updated on my end. I am starting to get scared! EEk!!!
  14. I'm Wednesday too!! Eeeek! I am so excited and nervous all rolled into one!
  15. I have nott been sleeved yet but I agree with the whole safe than sorry thought and I would contact my doc ASAP. I was glad to hear you had a good recovery but this freaked me out a little!
  16. My doc said he does them for all of his patients because it can be a first sign of a leak rather than getting horrible sick and procrastinating on calling or going to the doc. I asked for a whole bunch in case one doesn't work. haha
  17. Good luck!!! I will say a prayer for a speedy recovery!! Please keep us posted on the post-op side! My surgery is Wednesday!!!
  18. Thank you so much and the same for you!!! I think the fear of the unknown is definitely working against me! We will be fine and then FINE!! I'm so glad there's a local to help each other get through!!!
  19. My doc recommended the Atkins. I would check with your doc but I only have 3 days left and have been doing them the whole time so I hope so! lol
  20. Thanks for posting! Interesting and certainly puts a pound into prospective. Now I need to lose 20 infants! hahahah
  21. I am not only afraid. I am petrified because this will be my first surgery ever. I am getting sleeved at the new hospital on Huffmeister and 290. I call my doc McDreamy. lol. He is a cutie in person unlike his very realtor looking pic on his website. hahaha
  22. I have thought about this same thing. However, I don't really have the co-morbidities. Well, sleep apnea and my back hurts but I haven't ever been to the doc to complain of them. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining now just thinking out loud....
