Hiccups
I am the same amount out, and have the same thing. I just took it as our stomachs can't hold a lot, and this includes air.

Vitamin B Deficiency
I think most Drs think ahead on that. I am on a monthly B12 shot as well as a B1 pill everyday. Add that to my chewable multivitamin, I think I should be ok lol. Talk to your dr about your worries. They will do what's best for your case.

Help- 5 Weeks Out Need Some Advice.........
Sounds like you're not getting enough liquids and also you may have eaten something that may have upset your tummy. You would know if it were a leak from what I've read. Drink as much as you can. Step back a few steps and move back to just liquids for a couple days. Sometimes we have to do that to let out stomach adjust to foods. I'm sorry for your discomfort. Keep us posted.

Consitpation...please Help..
I agree with pdx. MOM at first. Smoother on the new sleeve. If it happens later, Miralax works great. It desolves in water and really can't taste it

8 Day Post-Op Help
My local frozen yogurt place has a no sugar/no fat option. That's what I chose the one time I've eaten it. It was good, but could only eat a couple of bites then was so full. I would try to get it that way if at all possible. Save on calories, sugars, and cabs.

Bruning Feeling
Do you take prevacid or anything for acid? Are you eating spicy food? How long has this been happening. You might have eaten something that aggravated you sleeve. I would step back and maybe go on liquids a couple of days to see if that works. If it is really bad though, I would go to the dr. Better safe than sorry. I am sorry for your discomfort.

Need Exercise Regimen Ideas
- Help Me Dig Deep
That might work Favoredone. I have just been making sure I get protein in first. I do get some good carbs in. Just remember on days in atkins that me and carbs aren't real good friends(though I love them so lol)- Help Me Dig Deep
Thanks Lissa. You are always a voice of reason. Trying to do everything right. I don't stray. So just confused. I will try adding more calories. It's feels like I'm eating all day to get what I do get.- Help Me Dig Deep
I know stalls are normal. I expected to have them. But I'm only 7 weeks out. I've lost 28 pounds. Nothing to frown about. But that was all in the first 4 1/2 weeks. For 2 1/2 weeks I've been stuck. Being this close out, at first I thought it was the famous "3 week stall" come a little late. But, alas, no movement. Now, I work out 4 to 5 days a week. Both cardio and weight training. Wanted to tone to minimize loose skin while I dropped. I burn at least 700 calories during workouts. I eat only Protein... Ie: chicken breast, shrimp, eggs, turkey, and Protein shakes. I make my shakes with light silk for added protein and some extra calories. So now I'm up to about 600 calories give or take, no more than 20 carbs, no more than 20 grams of fat, and usually about 70 grams of protein. My calories when this started was 400 or less. This started when I was still on full liquids. If anyone can think of something to push me out of this, let me know. I'm at a loss.- Not Trying To Be Grose But...
I've never thrown up. This is not typical. Now I have seen that a lot of people have. My sleeve just won't let me eat that much. I know I'm done either by a hickup or I have a slight cramp in my stomach. Just eat slow and the moment you THINK you might be full, stop.- July 4Th Challenge
- Why
I am going through the same thing right now. Been stuck since 5 weeks out. I am almost 7 now. I upped my calories to about 600, bust it in the gym 5 days a week, usually get all my water in, limit carbs (they don't like me anyways). Stuck. Frustrated as well. Especially when everyone who was sleeved around the time I was is kicking booty and I am having to kick and fight for every pound. I am with you honey.- Can't Take The Protein Drinks, Also Getting Dehydrated
Awww honey. First I'd like to say congratulations on surgery. Second you are so new. Liquid first. Keep your self hydrated first. Protein is important. But water is more important. Try getting a protein shake in. That also counts as a liquid. Welcome to the club- Pre-Op Diet...2Nd Day And I'm Miserable!
Sugar free jello. Makes you think you're eating... Did your dr not allow that? That's the only thing I've seen that most doctors allow. If not, just drink lots of water and lots of crystal light. Get several flavors to change up. You can use them after surgery too. Good luck. You got this. It's so worth it honey.- Post Surgery Workouts?
I went to the gym 5 days a week for an hour at a time. Lots of cardio. In 4 months I lost 10 pounds. That was my decision process before having surgery. If I could lose leaps and bounds without surgery I would not have went through with it. But I did tone lots. So I had a good base to work with. I now work out at 4 am 5 days a week and see where on arms are toned. Happy I did start first, it's allowing me to do more than I ever thought I'd be able to... Jogged while pushing my daughter in her stroller tonight- Had Surgery 5/21, No Weight Loss
I know it's distressing. You do something like what we've done and expect to see results quickly. You just went through surgery and are taking like 1/10th of the calories. Just give it a little longer. Stop checking your weight but once a week. My husband had to hide the scale lol. It will come off.- In A Food Rut!
I found the most tasty pesto turkey breast from Sara Lee. Got it at the deli counter. High protein. Almost no carbs (1) and tastes fantastic. Also weight watcher's has some low fat cheese sticks that are awesome. Once again, low cal, carb, and 6 grams of protein.- Wine Post Op
It's because it's carbonated. Some dr's don't want any carbonation at all... Ever. My dr says just open it an hour before. Though I've drank nothing carbonated yet- Pre-Op Diet
I use the vanilla or chocolate light silk. Gives a little more depth. Also I've added sf pudding mix (about a Tbs) to it. Makes it more palatable. During my pre-op phase I drank the atkin's brand shakes. They are pretty tasty. After surgery moved to different ones because not enough protein in just one. You have to try different ones and tweek them to what you can stomach. Congratulations on your date and good luck.- Wine Post Op
Hard liquor isn't bad for me. Had my first drink last night at 6 weeks also... Not not one problem. Jack over ice. Expected to be toasty... Nope. Which means I will be able to have a drink when I go out lol- Whats In Your Sleeve?
Breakfast-Body fortress protein shake made with light silk. Lunch- A 2 oz grilled turkey burger wrapped in lettuce with a slice of cheese.- Scared!
I am almost 6 weeks. Of course there's going to be people with bad experiences... In EVERYTHING. This includes sex. So if every person who had a bad experience made other people not do it, there would be no babies.. LOL. Anyways, everyone is different. We have all been on the cusp of not getting the surgery, but the want and need to be "normal" far out-weigh that. I can honestly tell you I have had not one problem (well constipation, but what else is new lol) It's hard. And sometimes you really have to work to eat or get your fluids in... But it was so so worth it. I am 46 pounds down in 7 weeks and and tickled pink. I know it's gone for good. Nothing that's worth having comes easy. Good luck honey. - Help Me Dig Deep
