  3. hey sha trust me this is normal. we are fluids in and fluids out. i had it alot also. my dr suggested me using align capsules (that i open and dump into my shakes) to help with that, because i cant stand yoghurt. it will slow down. i promise. keep drinking and doing popsicles to stay hydrated.
  4. i was on liquids for 2 wks after surgery.........just be careful..and rest up
  5. my vitamins are chewable (except the irom and b12) i have to crush them as well as a prescibed one at night...(starting taking them a week after surgery)and liquid tylenol... be careful. agree with caz, as dr for more specifics
  6. hey sandra, all dr lists are different. i am on mushies/soft right now. i can have applesauce, pudding, very mashed up tuna w/mayo, oatmeal, grits (last two are very runny) and my fave refried beans w/ff shredded cheese/salsa and mashed potaotes........i am sure there are more but this is what i am having now...i wish you all the luck
  7. hi fal, i was banded on a wed and came home thursday, and showered as soon as i got home. i didnt face the shower and didnt let the water (hit the incisions). i felt 1000 times better when i did this. i wish you all the best and congrats on this great cange you made
  8. hey robin, its just me and my hub (my son is 21 and is stationed in OK). my surgery was overnight and i was sooo happy that hub took 2 days to be with me. i would think maybe 2 or 3. i wish you all the best and look forward to reading about your success what kind of dogs?

  11. hub is super duber helping me with my food and getting (us) ready for when i am able to start more solid foods and onwards after that. when they say eat 3-4 oz of Protein and then your veggies/fruit. does the weight count for all (items) the 3-4 oz or it is for each item? sorry to sound stupid but am just wondering how the weighing of food works. i would appreciate any/all advise/thoughts.

  13. i am working on week 3 also. i am sad bc i cant eat what my hub eats or anyone else (here at work). i miss that. i hope it gets better. i read on here people can eat whatever but in moderation and portion control. i think that is my biggest gripe thus far (maybe because i am a volumn eater) the more the merrier you know. what are you blue about?

  16. hey msw, i sometimes have trouble w/sleeping (i am a stomach/side sleeper) and i find myself turning over and over to get (right) hub said just last night he need to take a dramine if i kept it up (to help w/motion sickness, i know i spelt it wrong...

  18. congrats evolutions. i have tricare also and it was very smooth/easy. you will do fantastic.

  21. my insurance (tricare) did not approve the sleeve or the plication so my doctor performed this surgery along w/the lap band at no charge. i wish you all the luck.....
  22. i am going to my first dr/surgeon post op follow up. are there any questions i should ask him?? any thoughts.....thanks for any response.
