Melissa, Sorry to hear about your Grandmother. I myself am not very restricted, I can eat breads, Pasta, rice things that use to give me trouble are now not a problem except "bbq brisket" and tuna right out of the can. I had a few bites of brisket last night and could feel it just sit there.! I actually liked the feeling...I had missed that feeling. Now I didn't up-chuck or slim thou. Just wanted to add my 2 cents about brisket! Do take it easy, are you feeling any better?

My, today I was doing good til lunch. I remember how Lisa said she threw away her raviolis, I just can't throw it away. I was alone I said to myself just throw it away. After taking a few bites I did. Mom saved everything, leftovers..tiny tupperwares of stuff all good. She was a great cook and taught me everything about cooking, even my sisters are jelous of how I cook. The one thing that sticks is how proud she was cause I'd eat 8 pancakes..german buttermilk pancakes driping with syrup and jam. She'd bost about it like she was proud. That's something I never boast. On the soup I sit salivating...being of Ukraine desent, we had pots of Borscht(not beet soup) everything is pre-fried then put in the soup....

Oh we did have so much fun! I told Bill I'm off to Vegas and he said "who's going to watch the kids?" Is said "your not going!" we laughed. Hi Nancy I'm totaly with Michelle here and also want to add...after the first fill, when doing 2nd,.. 3rd..fills the doc should try and extract the previous fills, not air hopefully by this time. Thats my problem! After my 3rd fill my doc can Not get any fill back out, he even put alittle in then trys to get in back out. This is fustrating and unexplainable. Furthermore he didn't place my band so were working in awww. where did my fill go. So in Nov I had a flouro fill was with contast solution instead of saline. We also saw a possible kink in the hose.? So yesteday I go for a blind fill, again no solution comes out. The odd thing is I felt restristion yesterday but not today. i want to make this work and will give it time...Even without restriction I'm still not eating as much as I use to.

I haven't been to a Good Sam's support meeting in a year, even thou that's where I met Carol. I seem to be so busy with my kids and work its hard to get up there from Morgan Hill (Ironically I'm going in for a fill in 2 hours). But I can make an effort for next month, and if you want to commute together let me know. Carol I thought the support meetings were on the second Thursday of the month. Is it combined with the by-pass group and in the trailer?

His answer was insurance, there's allot who want the band but can't get coverage. Was Sylvia the other pre-bander at the meeting? Let me know if there's anything I can do?
