First of all, Thank You Penni! you are a true angel. Miss Lisa, you've been through so much. I will say a prayer for you every morning. You So deserve to keep your band. Thanks for letting us know all the details, I appreciate your knowledge. I want to repeat what you said it's so important to have a band surgeon near you.

Kathy, Absolutely NO support or after care from Belighter. Further-more some of us believe she, Anne-Marie got some kind of a deal with CJ medical makers of the AMI band which I have and offered this type of band to Dr. Sanchez who banded me. I'm not saying it's a bad band but if it's true she's deceiving. Dr. Sanchez no longer uses her services! She informed me I would not have any problem getting a fill doctor, but all the doctors she recommended (number 1 on her list Dr. Billy) will not touch a NON-Inamed band. When I first contacted her about a possible leak or kink in my tubing, she would not respond. She does not care. Dr. Kuri is a wonderful Doctor. Teresa If you find any information on anybody doing a case action suit, please let me know. If they can recover any costs I will be willing to offer 50%. It's better than nothing.

Hi Kathy My kids were my first reason for getting my band. I'm 45 and have a 7 yo and a 3 yo. I want to be here and healthy for them. I was self pay and went to Mexico also. Like Marie said do find after care in your area. It's very important to have a doctor near in case of emergencies and fills.

The web-sight says they're experts..after-care...It's all False advertising. I'm in the sueing mode. Are they/she an American based company? I know they have an account set up in Houston. Class action suit, count me in! Maybe the Better Business Burial should be notified. As far as I'm concerned she's taken to much money and should be stopped.

Even some of the skinnist people I know struggle to stay there. 3 girls I know wake up every morning jump on the treadmill, lift weights...they claim they have to watch everything they eat. I look at my family, my Mom was big, my sisters are big. It's part of my genitics. The best of luck to get to your goal.

Love Fish!! Good info. If you like Cod, don't buy it fresh unless you live near the ocean. Chances are its been shipped and has taken quite a few days if not weeks to get to your local market. 60 minutes tracked Cod to the store, was something like 12 days. Frozen Cod is good and pakaged right off the boat. My favorite is rainbow and lake trout fresh off the hook, the lake I live on only has bass and catfish. We smoke salmon often, good and last for days.

I don't think you can tell, tell you what Band you have under x-ray. I have a film/print of my latest flouro/x-ray, you can see the the band as a white stripe as well as the barium sitting above it and trickling into the stomach. I have documentation with my serial number, but I don't know if it's marked on the band. (SAGB) Good Question, :banana Call Don Mills and ask him President Lisa.
