  1. I couldn't eat chicken at all until the last few weeks and I am almost 4 months out. Even a small bite would make me feel overly full and in pain.
  2. No regrets at all, having this surgery was one of the best decisions I have ever made. You are not supposed to drink alcohol, I think that it is partially because of all the calories in most drinks. On a few occassions i have had a vodka with sugar free cranberry juice, but can't drink very much of it without getting tipsy.
  3. My only regret is that I didn't have this surgery sooner. I didn't have any complications at all. I had to take small sips the first week out of surgery, but now I can drink water just like I used to. I feel better and have more energy than I have had in years.
  4. I am only 3 months out, but so far I haven't noticed my hair falling out more than normal. Since the beginning I have been taking Be-beautiful hair skin nail chews from GNC, and my hair seems to be healthier than ever.
  5. Congratulations! You are doing great!!!
  6. My last meal was at a Japanese steakhouse, it was amazing. I'm 3 months out and still eat at In N Out every once in awhile. The protein style cheeseburger is great, I can eat about half of it and the calories aren't bad at all.
  7. I have been having lower back pain for over a month. My doctor has run a bunch of tests and found nothing wrong. Just like you my doctor said it is probably my body adjusting to the weight loss.
  8. I took 4 weeks, and I have a pretty physical job. If your job requires you to be able to lift anything you might want to take more than 2 weeks. I couldn't have lifted anything or been on my feet for a significant amount of time until about 3.5 weeks out.
  9. I'm actually hoping my breasts get a bit smaller, but so far they are the only place I haven't lost weight from. Right now I'm a DD and would prefer to be a C or D. I'm pretty close to goal, so I don't have a lot of faith that they are going to get any smaller.
  10. What a great NSV!!
  11. I saw this flavor at the store today and wondered if it was any good. I will have to try it!
  12. Cost plus also has a really good selection of the torani syrups. There are a lot of favors to choose from.
  13. I used visalus shakes during my pre-op diet. They are really good, and actually taste like cake batter. To give my shakes flavor I used sugar free torani syrup. The peach and raspberry are both realllly good!
  14. I'm 3 months post op and I try to keep my calories under 600 and my carbs under 20.
  15. I also had refried beans with a little cheese and salsa. I had been on liquids for almost a month at that point, including pre-op diet, and I swore the beans were the best thing I had ever tasted.
  16. I met mine about an hour before my surgery
  17. Congrats! I can't wait to be at that point!
  18. Congrats! You are doing great!
  19. I started at 233 and so far I have lost 55 pounds. My surgery was almost 3 months ago. Good luck! You will do great!!
  20. These are the only protein shakes I could drink after surgery. I have only tried the vanilla and really like them. I wish my local costco stocked strawberry, because I would like to try those.
