  1. 6 weeks out and I am in onederland! I had hoped to be here by the 2 month mark, so I couldn't be happier!!
  2. The strawberry sorbet from unjury is pretty good. The Nectar brand has some good favors too.
  3. Congrats! I can definitely see the difference in the 2 pics.
  4. Congratulations that's great!!
  5. My doctor wrote that I needed to be off work for a medical issue, and the amount of time i needed off. She said that is all the information they are entitled to.
  6. My Insurance requirements were a single nutrition visit and a referral from my PCP. I have the access plus BCBS plan.
  7. I lost 6 pounds my first week post op, I seem to be losing pretty slow.
  8. Congrats and good luck!!
  9. I know how you feel, when I was going through my surgery I couldn't find anyone else with BCBS California. I completed all my prep tests before my surgery was approved. My surgery was scheduled for 3 weeks after I got my approval letter. I started my pre-op testing and appointments on December 18th and my surgery was March 12th.
  10. I have bcbs California and mine was approved in 3 days. There were very few insurance requirements as well. Good luck
  11. Sounds yummy, I'm going to have to try that one.
  12. You are doing great! I was sleeved on 3/12 and I have lost 15 pounds. I'm really hoping for a bigger loss this week, I seem to be losing pretty slow. 30 pounds in 2 weeks is great!!!!
  13. Wow you are doing great!!!!!
  14. Congratulations!! That's great!!
  15. My favorite soft food so far is baby bell cheese.
  16. Ive only tried the starwberry kiwi, and it is great.
  17. I had my surgery on 3/12 and I am down 12 pounds, so I think you are doing great having lost 20.
  18. I was in the hospital overnight. My surgery was at 7am and I left the hospital by 9am the next morning. The doctor just wanted to see that I could keep fluids down before I was discharged.
  19. I had my 2 week checkup today and my blood pressure was 90/47. That is normal for me though. I've always had really low blood pressure and not had any problems because of it. I didn't have blood work either today. I wouldn't worry about your blood pressure being low unless you start getting light headed.
  20. I like the premier protein shakes from Costco. They make vanilla and chocolate. I also like the strawberry sorbet unjury protein. I drink the muscletech protein shots because they have 42 grams of protein, but they taste horrible. I only drink them when I need to get a lot of protein in. Hope you find one that you like!
  21. Congratulations! You are doing great!
  22. I had a reallllly bad rash too. It started on my chest and spread to my stomach. My doctor told me to take benadryl and put cortisone in it also, but that didn't work. It got so bad I had to get a prescription for prednisone. Once I started taking it the rash and itching disappeared. My doctor thought I had an allergic reaction to be of the antibiotics used after surgery. Hope you feel better!!
  23. Congratulations that's great!!
