I love spanx, but I usually pick them up at Marshall's or Ross where they are significantly cheaper.

5 Days Post Op Terrible Rash
I have a horrible rash that I saw the doctor about today. Mine is concentrated on my chest and not on my incisions, but my doctor said it is a reaction to medication. She recommended benadryl at night, Claritin during the day and said I cold put an anti itch spray on it if I wanted to.

March 28Th Surgery
I had my surgery on Monday and have no regrets. I got a little scared reading some of the threads here, but I also had a lot of faith in my surgeon. My surgery was at 7 am and I was home by 9 am the next day. I was in a good amount of pain that lasted a couple days, but as of this morning I feel great. I was up walking around a couple hours after surgery. I had some nausea, but it was controlled by medicine. I'm not going to weigh in until Monday so I don't know how much I've lost, but I'm confident this surgery is going to help me loose big! Good luck on your surgery!!

Too Young For Surgery?
They have actually been doing this surgery for years as part of the duodenal Switch. As much as I was worried about the unknown I was more concerned about what would happen to my health if I didn't have the surgery.

Too Young For Surgery?
I'm 29 and just had surgery this week. I wish I would have done this years ago! If I had done this years ago I would have had less weight to loose. If you know you can't loose the weight without surgery, the only thing that will happen if you wait a few years will probably be that you will weigh more then.

Thanks everyone! I plan on calling the doctor in the morning because it is super itchy and raw. It's only on my breasts, it doesn't seem to be in spots where I had any tape.

Day 2 Help
HI, I was sleeved Monday morning also and I was feeling the same way until about noon today. The only thing I've been ale to eat so far is unjury chicken soup and water. The gas pain was horrible and made me throw up almost everything I tried. I've had a heating pad on my stomach since this morning and it seems to have helped a lot with the gas pains. I have also been taking gas x strips, not really sure if those helped or not. Hope you feel better!

Going To Cab San Lucas Post Surgery...
I'm having my surgery on Monday and planning a trip to Cabo in December. I previously went to Cabo with a friend who was about 6 months post-op. There were plenty of food choices for him. For breakfast he was able to get eggs and bacon from the buffet. The majority of his other meals consisted of shrimp or chicken. On the one occasion he ordered chicken fettuccine he picked out the chicken and only ate a few of the noodles. Drinking wise he stuck mainly to vodka and had several drinks during our trip. Because of all the walking and swimming we did he still managed to loose a few pounds while we were there. Hope you have a great trip!

Anyone Getting Sleeved On March 12 ?
My surgery is inpatient. I go in at 5:30 am on Monday. My doctor says most of his patients stay in the hospital about 24 hours. My surgeon didn't order any meds for before surgery. I also ordered some syntax nectar, I have the strawberry kiwi and unflavored protein. I really like the strawberry kiwi!
