  2. OOOO, Girl, I am almost to where you are at and can't wait! My BMI is lingering just above 40. I am at 234.2 today. I can't wait to be in Onederland! How about I race you?

just drink a ton of water today
  4. I have never had a C section, but from what I have heard, C sections are by far worse!! The sleeve, to me, was an extremely easy surgery with not a lot of residual pain.
  5. I did much better on my pre op diet when I was busy! Work days were the easiest to stick to it. Just think, 3 more days and it will be over.
  6. Ok, I downloaded map my walk app and it is awesome! It is a real motivator.
  7. Wow.. I didn't know they had an app called Map My Walk.. I just downloaded it. Thanks for the info! Do you find it to be pretty correct in the distance calculation?

I am interested too.. what did you cook it in?
  9. I love me some veggies, too!
  10. The weight limit on mine is 300 pounds. I hope it will hold up!
  11. That is great! And 4 miles walking is wonderful! Good for you!
  12. I have a ProForm one. I bought it a couple of months ago and as soon as I am cleared to exercise, I am going on it again. I am very out of shape and will start off slow and work my way up. My ProForm is a good one. I bought it brand new for $900.
  13. Thank you! I will check it out.
  14. I start my blended diet tomorrow. I can't wait! What are your favorite blended recipes? Is there a sticky somewhere with a group of recipes for this phase?
  15. The pain for me was not that bad. I was sore getting in and out of bed to go to the bathroom but I just had someone put an arm out so I could pull myself up. I didn't need my pain meds. I did take them for less than 24 hours in the hospital. Not very often though (morphine pump). I just pushed it a couple times because I was afraid it was going to hurt when I got out of bed. I never took the paid meds that were prescribed. The worse part was that I was extremely tired! I took naps everyday for a couple of days. I am now 2 weeks out and have felt great, besides wanting to eat. Also, I hated the drainage tube. Once that was out, I was 100% better. I could have went back to work at a week out if I had needed to. I, fortunately, am getting a full paycheck for a month so I am taking it!
  16. Your Dr. will let you know. Mine said 5 weeks.
  17. I was sleeved on the 12th. I lost 10 pounds in the first week. I haven't lost anything since 6/18. It is frustrating! All we do in drink a measly amount of calories each day yet the weight lingers. Very frustrating!
  18. I know that it happens, it is just so darn frustrating! I was sleeved on the 12th. I lost 10 pounds the first week. I haven't lost anything since 6/18. I hate it! I was so excited for those first 10 pounds. I have read a lot of info on here and know that it happens. It really does make me fearful that the weight loss won't happen. Why does our bodies have to go thru an adjustment period? Anyone out there stop losing early on then it picks up and you end up doing awesome?
  19. why would they refuse to submit your paperwork? didn't they want the insurance money?
  20. Where did you get it for $60? And is it more than a pedometer? What does it do?
  21. Frustrating for sure! And rude on their part.
  22. If you have a drainage tube, bring a safety pin to clip it to your clothes so it isn't dragging on your tummy when you walk around. Also, if you have a lanyard, it is awesome to clip the tube to that when you take a shower. I heard that advise from someone on here and wished I had known about that before my first shower! And to whoever said that the hot water used for tea in the hospital smells like coffee, you are spot on! I thought I was weird for thinking that.
