23 pre op Diet and around 40 since being banded. I was banded on 30 June 2011

Vodak Water with Squeeze Lime!! But I get drunk very easy!!!

I was loosing about 2 lb aweek for 15 weeks but am at standstill for over a month

I have pretty much the same problem but have 9.5cc in a 14cc band. In the last month in a half I have fluctuated in weight 2 to 4 lbs. One thing I have found out about to do when you get a fill is not just sip the liquid but to take a big gulp and swallow hard. When I take a small sip and just swallow I appears to not want to go through but a big gulp and swallow hard seems to show it is going through with no problems. Hope I helped

Apparently I must do this as I have not lost a lb in over a month! 8.5cc in a 14cc band! Its driving me NUTS!!!

I am a desk Jockey so I too only 4 days off including a weekend but when I went back to work the gas pains was so bad that I took the rest of the week off! So in reality I took a full week off!

Remember to CHEW< CHEW< CHEW!

Thats exactly what I was told in the seminar prior to being Banded 30/30 rule is what they said.

1st fill 6 weeks after Banding and every month after that I am now 9cc in a 14 cc band

Get this done ASAP as I was reading an article yesterday that over $363million was spent on dependants an Retiries having some sort of Bariatric Surgery! With the economy of today and cutting benifits I would not be suprized if Tricare will stop authorizing these type of elective surgeries. If you have noticed Tricare Prime went up already. I have been retired from the Marine Corps for 10 years. I am glad that my surgery was done in June!

I must agree after 60lbs so far I noticed myself to be longer! Damn I wish I had a Gal to share it with!! HAHAHA <BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>

Blowing "Busters" is a fact in my life since I have been Banded.

I enjoy Vodka Water with lemon! But if I drink more than 2 its not good couse I'll drink 6 or 8! But I do get drunk easy!

The same thing happened to me! I am betting as bloated as I felt that my belly was twice as big as normal! And the Gas pain was unbearable until about 5 or 6 days after surgery!

Yes thats what I have called it all my life! And I have never blown as many Buster in my life for so long since I have been Banded!! LMAO

Its been 4 weeks and 1 day since was banded, I have had a few beers in the last week or so, but found that I can only drink 1 1/2, 12 oz cans an am full but seem to be no problems keeping it down. I have also tried Vodka water and it seems to be ok also! With this being said though, I had a total loss of 35 lbs and in the last week I gain 3 lbs back! So now I decided to stick to water since I got banded to lose weight not gain it back!! My first fill will be on Aug 15.

My name is Tim, surgery 6/30/2011, By Dr. Jenson in Yuma AZ. Total Loss is 32 lbs including pre-op diet. Just some minor problems with eating as it seems the restriction is not so bad except for 2 episodes when food would not go down and 5 or 10 mins later it would come back up! I have gained a couple lbs and hope the 1st fill on 8/15 will help!

I seem to be able to eat things just fine also! Certainly not as much, but I have had food stuck 2 time an even spit up them 2 times! Very gross! Worse then my Kids when they was Babies! Hopefully the fill on Aug 15 will help!

30 June 2011, 10 lbs post op, 32 lbs total, first fill Aug 15! I actualy gain 2 lbs!!
