I have been wanting a WLS of some type since 2003. I was active duty Navy at that time and the military refused to allow Tricare insurance to pay anything towards the surgery. I have tried a couple more times since then and had insurance hoops to jump through. The door finally opened when I got hired by government and got Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal plan. I had a couple of hoops but I have finally recieved my approval and I am ready to go! I was originally scheduled for 22Jul2011 but The band was on "Backorder" so I have been rescheduled for 26Jul2011. I have also decided to get Plication as well.
