  1. That's an awesome NSV. Congrats!
  2. You do have to complete all six appointments if they say so, but it will be finished eventually. I know it seems like it will take forever, but you when you finish you submit. And for me? UHC approved in 24 hours. Just make sure you cross your t's and dot you i's.
  3. Boca burgers with cheese, Gardein products, tofu, tuna salad, egg salad, boiled eggs, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, and cheese cubes. Also, since you eat fish, don't forget to consider things like clams, scallops, crab, and shrimp. P.S. Also, don't be afraid to incorporate things like peanut flour, almond flour, soy milk, almonds, Peanut Butter and other nut products for more Protein.
  4. Wow, after all the changes and hardships, you look great and some happy!
  5. I am so happy for you! Congrats, lady! What a great NSV.
  6. I LOVE sugar free syrups. I use them all the time to flavor my tea, coffee and protein shakes. They really keep me from getting bored. I don't know about the whip cream, but occasionally I still do sugar free popsicles.
  7. Went from a 40DD to a 36C. Sad face.
  8. Lol, same things I loved before surgery. Chicken wings and ribs.
  9. It is just like I imagined, but I think I didn't realize how much the people around me would change as well. Some of its good, like my boyfriend dropping weight with me. Some of its bad, like getting stares from people who know what I used to put away. I love my sleeve, and I wouldn't change it for a thing.
  10. Yes, I have UHC Choice Plus. I had to do a 6MSWL and I went from 257 lbs to 238 lbs during my appointments. I understand where you are coming from completely. I have been obese since before I even knew what the word was at age 11. If your insurance covers the surgery, then as long as you meet the requirements you should be approved.
  11. I can't believe she would say that. You are doing awesome! What is it today with these so called "medical professionals"?
  12. I hope I can say something half as awesome in March when I complete my 5k.
  13. I am 3 months out and I can get down pretty much a days worth of fluids in an hour if I tried. I just can't gulp like I used to. I just constantly keep a drink on hand and drink normally.
  14. My sleeve hates hamburger. My sleeve hates steak. No more red meat for wishes. My sleeve loves chicken. My sleeve tolerates pork. My sleeve loves hot tea. My sleeve hates carbonation with a firey passion.
  15. Sometimes, you get funny looks about what you eat from people that knew you before the sleeve.
  16. I agree, it is never to early to start trying to change your life.
  17. Love it! And I totally agree about the measuring tape, plus it will help you determine your size when you are able to try and shop for smaller clothes. It is a jungle out there!
  18. That's awesome! Congrats on such a great NSV.
  19. I agree. THAT IS AWESOME. Congrats! As long as you are happy and healthy what can he say?
  20. Maybe, I definitely understand, but when it does it is something to Celebrate. And both of us have dropped so many sizes now that our closets are nearly empty. It is just that gosh darned scale. Add me on myfitnesspal as wish3s, I've been on there since day 1. Yeah, maybe I need a more intense form of exercise. Good luck to you as well!
