Wishes At 6 Months! How Time Flies.
@Foxbins: Yup, I am not the best, but it is getting a lot easier the smaller I get. I was signed up to run a 5k this last weekend, but my boyfriend couldn't take me so I couldn't go. It is good to know that I can do it. I'm signing up for a 5k + 3k in May though! I so wouldn't be here today without my sleeve.

Rant: Nothing In My Closet Fits!
Thank you, everyone. I'm so glad to have such supportive people in my life while I'm having a fit. I love shopping consignment/thrift. It was just kind of overwhelming to not have anything nice to wear. I still love my size 12 jeans even though I wear a 10. It works for most days.

I Have Clothing To Sell. Mostly Size 14 And 2X.
I just had a little rant about not having smaller clothes, not that I have ever been this size before. I want to second Nichelle. You really might want to hang on to the smaller clothes you have.

Rant: Nothing In My Closet Fits!
I was searching through my closet for over an hour before realizing I have nothing to wear! I know this might not seem like a big deal, but I literally fell to the floor crying. I don't dress up often, literally I spend almost every waking second in jeans and t-shirt or my pajamas. It doesn't really matter what I wear when I am in class, doing research or at home studying. But the one day... one day! I want to dress up I don't have ANYTHING in my closet that is appropriate for the club. Not even my bras.... I can't believe I am complaining about everything being too big. *sighs* I am sorry for ranting, but I really just needed to vent. Weight loss is awesome, but damnit I want some clothes that fit!

Thank you, it is so amazing how much my sleeve has changed my life.

Stall?
Lol, I regularly stall out for three weeks and then drop all my weight for the month right as my period comes around. If I worried about a stall all the time, I would never enjoy my sleeve. DO NOT worry about stalling right around 3 weeks after surgery, it is super common.

I love the McDonald's Unsweet Tea! I swear I have it down to a science when ordering. No ice, 6 splenda, and lemon please!

Birth Control After Surgery
I switched two months after surgery. I don't think switching changed my weight loss in anyway, but I wanted to be sure.

Getting In All Your Liquids?
The first month or two is the toughest. Just sip, sip, sip, keep that cup in your hand at all times. It gets easier. At least for me, I figured out I can't drink plain water anymore, but I can guzzle some crystal light. I get 100 ounces now most days at 6 months out.

Birth Control After Surgery
I started my journey with Mirena, didn't notice any difference in my weight loss, but just to be sure since my insurance covered the switch I got Paraguard. My period isn't really that heavy and cramps are about the same as before. Soon as I reach goal though, I am going back to Mirena. I love that BC. My period was nonexistent.

The Scale Lies!
Lol, that would kill me. I love my scale. I can weigh myself 6 different ways to Sunday and my scale doesn't change. I love it to death.

Weight Loss After Vsg
Definitely, that is great losses. But in the first month especially anything from 2 - 40 lbs is possible and "normal." I lost 16 lbs my first month and 11 lbs my second. I am not the largest loser, but I am right on track for me. I normally average about 10 lbs a month, and I try not to worry about everyone else because I will hit my goal by 1 year out if I keep following the plan. It is about percentage lost not just big numbers.

Aargh!
OMG! You have utterly captured the problem I have. I tried on a size 10 pair of jeans and had THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM! I hate it. I nearly screamed in the dressing room. Size 10s.... no stretch, and excess skin was keeping them from being nearly perfect!

No Weight Loss For Going On 3 Weeks.....wth!
This happens to me at least once a month. I hate it, but it reminds to stay on track and check my eating. Don't let it get to you. You will start dropping again. It is just the body's way of adjusting to the weight loss. http://www.dsfacts.com/weight-loss-stall-or-plateau.html

Weight Loss At 7 Months
I barely topped 60 lbs at 6 months. I say you are doing awesome! Just keep it up. I fluctuate between 700 - 800. I really need to incorporate more exercise. I think I am extremely sedentary and that's what keeps me from losing faster.
