  1. I started losing hair about two weekday ago. Ugh...there wasn't a lot there to start with & its frustrating, but I look & feel so good that I don't care as much. We'll see how I feel about it in a few months!
  2. Does anyone know if its ok to have flax seeds at around 6 months out? I don't have a NUT to ask!
  3. I went to the hospital after my surgery & one of the nurses said that when out bodies go into shock it holds on to weight b/c it thinks its dieing! Be patient. You'll be clothes falling off thin soon!
  4. I have had vision changes for sure & have read that it is a temporary problem with dramatic weight loss. It will correct itself, just like all the other shocks to our bodies...this is just one of thema
  5. What an awesome recipie!
  6. I couldn't tolerate eggs either. I'm 3 months out & I tried them in the mushy stage & I felt so bad that I never tried them again.
  7. Try 1st choice for energy liquid vitamins. I have had tons of luck with it. It foes make me flush for about 5 minutes when I get to the bottom of the bottle, probably b/c I'm not shaking it good enough! I found it cheapest on Walgreen's website
  8. My husband, very reluctantly, started joining me in yoga each morning b/c he wants to improve his ride (cycle) quality. At first we couldn't make it through a workout together b/c I would end up on the floor laughing so hard I had to hold myself, but eventually he got it. Hrs not great at it & by no means looks graceful, BUT be can tell a difference in his ride. He doesn't fall as much. Also, if you can get your hands on a copy of AB-ripper X (the P90X core video) that is a great ab workout & its just 15 minutes. Try ordering a 10-minute solution yoga video at home to avoid embarrassment! Start with one 10-minute section then add on each week. You'll see a difference within a week. Make sure you really listen to the cues that the instructor is giving b/c we've conditioned our bodies to slouch or stand incorrectly, so try to do exactly what she is saying & watch her moves at first. You cab do this. Yoga is super beneficial!
  9. This is such a good question. I have been sleeved for 6 weeks, so I know what a slider is, but have no idea where they go?
  10. I've noticed that a lot of people post about hair loss. Is this something that happens to everyone or just some people? Is there anything I can do to prevent it? I've already got really thin hair, can't imagine losing any!
  11. I feel like an absolute mess right now. I think its due to my grief over food. I was/am completely addicted to food & now that I can't have it like I used to, I feel insane. Hoping it will pass soon. I'm 5 weeks out.
  12. As you can see from the posts, you are not alone. I am 5 weeks out & still have trouble. Water hurts or feels heavy in my tummy. I have to have a certain kind of water, only out of a certain bottle, only on the hour mark...joking! I think it just takes time. I reward myself for each bottle I drink!
  13. I've always had smaller boobs, like 38b...sucky huh? But my boobs are still always the first place I lose. Down to a 36a now. Hope the rest of my body catches up soon!
