Not Feeling Full Again...
Maybe u need a little more fill, i would go back to the doctor and tell him .. i know i am able to go back for a fill when i i feel i need to .. doctors dont always get the amount of fill right, sometimes its too much sometimes its too little .. the only thing i would say is that sometimes it can be about 3 weeks before i feel the full effects of a fill so maybe wait another week and see, if u still feel the same then go and get a little more.. no point in struggling on when there is no need

Restriction..????
I have always had a big appetite and my eyes even since banding still have difficulty some days in not putting too much on my plate, but i always stop now when i get the .. ive had enough feeling as i will often get stuck if i continued eating after i feel the enough hit me. I always stick with protein and 2 green veg, whether it be broccoli and peas or other green veg or salad, i dont measure it i use a smal plate, eat the protein first then eat my veg till i stop. What i have done for the past year and continue to do so is i always have soup before my main meal, Weight watchers tomato soup, yes it goes straight through the pouch but it gets into my stomach and stops me feeling the 'really hungry' feeling that makes me eat too fast, too bigger bites or eating too much . I think its about 70 calories a tin, its my only processed food i eat, but the weight i have lost so far, this system works for me.. The idea for eating a soup before my dinner came from a system called called volumetrics, a sort of way of eating that helps u feel satisfied without the calories.. When i would go out to a resturant pre-band i would never choose soup as a starter as it always used to fill me up before my main dish , i just chose to use this after being banded. I eat 1000 calories a day and exercise at least 500 calories burned most days its nearer 800 calories frum cycling. I still get hungry between meals somedays and try and fill up on water tea and coffee with skim milk.. Find what works for you and stick to it small changes to what u snack on , how u eat, when u eat etc all can make a difference .. become your own expert on you !

Nervous About Going Under
I have also had asthma since childhood and had a fair few surgeries over the years, it really never affected my asthma at all, i was more concerned with having to lay flat as i have always slept with at least 2 pillows. The hospital were great they let me have my head raised till i was out cold and i never knew, didnt have any issues after surgery either. I have a 4 -5 hour plastic surgery coming up in June this year, now thats a lot scarier than my little lap band op

Confession Of A Mad Fat Woman
we all have a self destruct button and sometimes we just press it.. u wrote down all that u felt and did and that in itself often will put into perspective what actually happened. The wrong thing to do would be to repeat what u did again and again and again, its done now, put that day away as a bad one and move on to a better one. footnote .. dont buy stuff like that again !

No Fist Fill Till 28Th And Gaining
Heather something like soft cotton from a tee shirt is best and make sure u change it the minute it gets damp. This is a horrid subject but a lot of people are affected by this. Dont use paper type products or things like gauze as they are abrasive, u need softness, raid some old tee shirt draws, make sure its a 100% cotton and make your self like a protective band of cotton under the flap .. if necessary make sure its double thickness .. Use no soap products other than natural ones with something like tea tree oil in it, i know its sounds like a performance to do all this but at 400lbs when i started i had a big area to protect and i never got sore once .. prevention is always the answer

No Fist Fill Till 28Th And Gaining
It is common for people to put on some weight after surgery until u get some fills under your belt. How much weight u put on is purely dependent on your own willpower. This time you are in now is called bandster hell and many people get stuck in it till the fills start counting. This was always going to be surgery that relied on your choices as much as how much you eat which the band will help you with. If you dont buy fattening food how can u snack on it. Look up what others are eating, just eat more of it if u are hungry. Comfort eating needs to be cut out and good healthy food replacing it. Make sure u eat food that makes u feel full, is low fat low carb and full of protein, that way you stand a chance of getting through this time. Log everything u eat, even maybe join weight watchers till u are able to make better choices. I still get hungry now even after all the weight i have lost, but i snack on food that is low in calories but taste good, greek yoghurt, any 0 fat milk products count the calories and dont give up, you went through all this , dont give up on you or the band and start exercising like crazy .. calories burned needs to be greater than calories eaten ( for most of us anyways) some manage to lose weight and not exercise but for most of us we need to burn what we eat .. I also have a tummy flap with spare skin i always make certain that the skin never rubs against each other. Pad yourself out, its the only way to manage it to stop infections and getting sore. I wear tummy control leggings and no one knows there is padding there. I feel for you because it can be horrid to live with that but lose the weight and it certainly will improve .. good luck and dont give up ..

Told Mum And Brother Me Getting Lapband Yesterday And They Want Me To Cancel
Its a difficult decision for you especially with some of the complications in your life from the depression, what i would say is think about what life holds for you if you dont have the surgery, is that not depressing too ? another angle to consider is maybe concentrating on things like you have to pre- and post op for the band could give u a new focus in life, something other to concentrate on rather than every day issues . If your brother is willing to support u in weight loss, ask for his support post-op, ask him to help u become your own expert on living with a band, if he is supportive then he should be for any weight loss however it is achieved. Ultimately the decision is and always will be yours, inconjunction with the surgeon. This could be the best decision you have made for a long time or it may not be. If you choose not to go ahead with it then are your weight loss goals achievable without it .. I really wish you well and hope u can come to a decision based on what your needs and wants are and not on those of others
