  1. 118 is a lot of weight! Great job on your part!
  2. Best of luck to you. I was nervous also!
  3. I know you wanted to tell him just how ignorant he was.
  4. My insurance was billed $125 for 15 minutes. Cost to me was $0
  5. All I can say is that I didn't have any port pain. I had lots of back pain, but no port pain. I don't even remember it being tender to the touch. Though I am sure it was for a least a few days. It wouldn't hurt to make a phone call and talk to the nurse. Let her decide if it is worth mentioning to the doctor. Just my view. Hope you feel better.
  6. Thats is the way it was for me as well. Why take a chance?
  7. Great job! That is lot of weight.
  8. Where is the option to delete your own profile located?
  9. Even without wls I think it is a good idea to take a Multivitamin. I have taken them over 30 years so far. Try the "more reply options" button if you want to reply.
  10. When I post on the forums this is what I get under my avatar to the left of the post. Group: Members Posts: 211 posts Topics: 9 0 warning points Gender: Male Patient Info:View my profile As you see it no longer shows my surgeon. What it does show is "0 warning points." Why? Can these two things be fixed? Thanks, PS: why does it no longer show the date joined?
  11. Helen, I appreciate the information you have posted of late. Keep it up!
  12. I do drink while I eat. It is my weakness. I was banded last Oct and I have had a single incident where it came back up immediately. Other than that, no problems, and my ticker shows how much weight I have lost. Granted it is a slow weight loss compared to some others. But I am content with it so far. Like many of you I have made so many changes to my diet. If only I could defeat this one last thing................
  13. I had tons of back pain for 2-3 days after surgery and then is just magically went away. Hang in there bud. It gets easier.
  14. Wow! A lot of you have done so well.
  15. - Can't edit post - why do I show "0 warning points"? I don't see that for anyone else. - What happened to the date I joined?
  16. I can't post with Firefox 11. I have to use the "more reply options"
  17. Me too. I still forget I have a band sometimes and just start eating normally. It only takes a couple of bites to get that feeling of impending doom.
  18. When I first started the LD I had a slight headache for about 2.5 days. And also the runs. I ate lots of sugar free popsicles too. Just letting you know. Good luck!
  19. Not knowing you or your family it is really hard to say. But I do know this, once you tell you can't take it back. I only told two people I absolutely had to tell. Much to my dismay, they have told many people.
  20. Night sweats can also be a sign of thyroid problems.
