  1. I live in Lawrenceburg, close to F'fort. Could you send me more information about this program? Is it for the Louisville community children or offered to anyone? There are programs for autistic children but it's hard to find a program geared specifically for pdd kids. The spectrum is so wide..my son is high functioning with particular needs whereas some children have extreme difficulties and have a variety of needs. Finding programs for pdd would be awesome. My son was involved in one group but it terminates once the child hits junior high
  2. I started a seperate post for parents with kids who have special needs for those who are interested in sharing a story or getting info.
  3. I thought it would be a nice idea to start a post for those of us with special needs children. My son is 12. He has Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Anxiety, OCD and ADHD. He is such a ray of sunshine, he's my baby and just an all around wonderful kid. He's so darned cute it's not even funny. He has dimples that when he smiles, his whole face smiles. I love him so much,,he's hard to handle and it's been a struggle but God gave me someone special to raise and so I do the best I can. His issues haven't really affected my having a sleeve but since my diet has changed, so has his and it has helped him with focus a little. I hope to meet other moms and dad's who have kids with special needs so we can share stories and information.
  4. I don't mean to stalk your posts but my son has pervasive developmental disorder, adhd, anxiety and ocd. Maybe we could chat about the kiddos sometime
  5. I have an autistic child as well. I don't think the poster meant it that way.
  6. Just wasn't a good week for me. 222.6 down to 222.4. GW 215.
  7. So sorry for the bad times you've had. I'm praying all will get better soon!
  8. You can really see a difference. What a pretty girl you are!
  9. I take it but since being sleeved for some reason I am suffering strange side effects. I talk out of my head and can't remember the next morning what I did or said. I have to set it on my night stand and take it as I'm lying down..if I take it any earlier, it scares my husband. And you definitely don't want to have a glass of wine in the same evening as you take it..even though it's 4 hours apart.lol At my next appt will see if I can switch to something else.
  10. That's awesome,,keep it up!
  11. SW 230 Last week 223.8 Today 222.6 GW 215 Doing really well with protein and liquids. Picking up my pace with excercise.
  12. I didn't think that was harsh at all pdx..I thought it was right on point. Really good response.
  13. I have my goal set at 135 but I'd settle for anything under 155.
  14. omg,,I almost peed my pants laughing.LOL
  15. I try to stay as close to 1000 calories as possible but I'm hearing from others that we need more..some say less. My nut said 1000 is fine for now, with time it would increase. Every office advises different for various reasons so it might be best to call your nut and ask what you should have.
  16. Maybe after having the band removed you could give it some time to see if you could get the remaining 40 pounds off and keep it off before making such a drastic move. I'm not sure I would go through everything I've been through for 40 pounds but if I struggled to keep it off and yo-yo'd alot I might change my mind. I wouldn't jump into anything right away.
  17. My calorie intake varies from day to day. I also have days where I can eat way more than other days. I have mfp set at 1000 but I don't hit that most days. I'm a slow loser too but I think that's just me because I've tried mixing things up a dozen different ways. The only time I'm really losing well is when I'm getting good excercise in. I have a difficult time with that due to health issues but my goal is to really push myself to excercise at least 5 days a week.
  18. Sounds like you are enjoying that vacation..have fun!!!
  19. The sweat and pain of carrying around an extra person!
  20. It takes alot of leg work but you'll get it done,,way to go on a good running start!!!
  21. Well that sounds devine.lol I have to look into this maker and eggface recipes..I saved her page but haven't really tried anything. I keep hearing how great her recipes are! Thanks for all the info!!
  22. My symptoms were left shoulder pain, I had a consistent fever over 101, I felt like I had a bad case of the flu,,sick to my stomach..it wasn't pleasant. cscake,,right under your ribs..it sounds like gas trapped up under there..try gas x. Or it could be acid backing up..a little reflux..are you taking a ppi? This area is where the liver is lifted to get to the stomach,,could be tender and sore from that. It doesn't sound serious but if it becomes very bothersome and not getting better, I'd call your dr.
  23. 2 gummy vites multivitamin, iron 65 mg, b12 1000 mcg, fish oil 1000mg, calcium chew 600mg with 800 iu of vit d3, vit k 100mcg, d3 2000 iu, biotin 1200mcg, probiotic complex, vit b1 150mg, I take them all 1x daily
  24. Maybe try changing things a up a bit. Excercise more, eat less/more, add more protein/water, shake things up a bit and that might be what's needed to make things move again. If not, just hold on because the scale will take off again,,just be patient. Measure yourself during this time to not get frustrated, most likely you'll see a shrinking waist, hips, etc.
