You have to buy them online. Oh Yeah bars are really good. They are 7 grams of carbs You can get them online at vitacost.com, which has all sorts of protein powders, vitamins, supplements, and everything else imaginable. You can also get them in health food stores like GNC but it's cheaper to get them online. Power Crunch bars are really good and have 10 grams of carbs. Just watch the carbs. It's better to have more protein than carbs. Most protein bars are around 200 calories.
  2. I would think so. When you chew them up, they disintegrate into nothing.
  3. I have a little $19 Hamilton Beach that does a great job pulverizing/shaving ice to make smoothies. I had a magic bullet but I wore it out. This cheap little Hamilton Beach is still going strong. I got it at Walmart.
  4. I lost half my hair. I used Biotin for months before and after surgery and took hair and nails Vitamins. I got all my Protein in every day during the post op diet and every day since. When it grew back in, it grew back in curly. I've never had curly hair in my life. It's been really different for me to get used to curly hair.
  5. You can't help who you're attracted to. Online dating can be fun and a real pain, too. It took me 5 years of meeting a lot of weirdos, as well as nice guys who I just wasn't attracted to, but I finally found me man I've been with for the last year. You should also look at profies at plentyoffish.com. You can always hide your profile and just look around. If someone interests you, drop them a friendly "Hi" As for this guy, go out with him and if you decide you don't want to see him again, just tell him he's a wonderful guy, but you didn't feel the spark you feel you need to continue a relationship. Keep practice dating, and you'll find the person who is just right for you!
  6. I love those sandwich thins. I think they are perfect. I always get the whole wheat, and only use half.
  7. Most people don't really have a lot of pain with this surgery. Ultram is a non narcotic pain med. I didn't even use any pain medication and I've heard of a lot of people who use liquid tylenol.
  8. Add popcorn to the list. I hate that I can't seem to say no at the movies. It's amazing how much popcorn I can eat, but give me something healthy, and I'm full way too fast.
  9. What is skinny taste? I just opened my pinterest today so I have to figure it out, but having a WLS spot is a great idea!
  10. Look on the ingredients. Does it say there is collagen in it? Collagen is made from boiled cow hides.
  11. Yeah, I don' t have a smart phone . I hope to have one but I'm not getting one until I can get on a different cell plan. I hope I can learn to use one. I am not good with those types of things. I need to sit here with my lap top and add in all the foods I eat regularly and then it would be easier after that.
  12. It seems difficult to add in all the foods that they don't already have on there. I know they definitely say people who track their food do the best, but I find it difficult to figure out my portion size to be able to track it. I don't measure my ketchup, and things like that. If anyone has any suggestions on how to make this easier, I would love to hear them. I am trying to take off the few lbs that I've gained back.
  13. Hey where did all the ladies go. I was kinda hoping to hear more about how everyone manages to fit in their new found sex life. Everyone seems to have more sex as they lose weight. Everyone just wait til the kids are in bed? Or do you get woke up at the crack of dawn before the kids are awake? curious minds want to know,,,,,,
  14. The brand is Genisoy. I used to be able to get them from Walmart but for some crazy reason, they don't carry them anymore. I've seen them at other grocery stores though. Now I get them where I get everything.... vitacost.com I get my Vitamins, shakes, Protein bars, just about everything there. shipping is free if you order $49 worth and I always order that much.
  15. What is silica? is it a Vitamin? I've never seen it in the store anywhere.
  16. probiotics do work wonders. So does Immodium, if it really becomes a problem.
  17. By far, my favorite Bariatric vitamin is Bariatric Advantage Calcium Citrate chocolate chews. I have it on auto ship because I never want to be without it.
  18. Don't worry that being sleeved is anything like the band. The band is a nightmare! Living with the sleeve is living a normal life, eating small portions of anything.
  19. Have you not even considered Dr. Aceves in Mexicali? For 8750 you could have surgery by one of the most experienced sleeve surgeons around, and stay 3 days in a wonderful hospital.

egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad. If chicken bothers you , put it in a blender before you make the chicken salad. White fish is good. Have you checked out the ricotta bake in the recipes in the food forum? At 3 months, these should work for you.
  21. If you have a Costco, the Premier are great. I haven't heard of anyone not liking them.
  22. Soy crisps are yummy. They come in all sorts of flavors. I like the BBQ and the White Cheddar.
  23. . I don't know where other people get it. I get it really cheap at a local restaurant supply company here in town. I hear Whole Foods and Sam's club carry them. I only pay around $3 a bottle. I think Amazon has them. Shop around cause they should not cost that much. Oh I do use orange all the time, in my Matrix Orange cream Protein drinks. They don't taste orange enough to me, without adding the extra sf syrup. I also use coconut a lot.
