  1. Most people hate it. I didn't mind it cause I didn't have to drink it for very long. It's not that I liked it, but I managed to drink it.
  2. Are you tracking your food on a program like My Fitness Pal? You should be limiting your carbs and fat, eating only healthy fats. Your carbs should come from dairy and veggies. Also, make sure you're drinking a lot of Water. Are you exercising? People say they walk a certain amount of miles every day. If they're doing that, they should be walking very quickly with some hills, and keep up the heart rate for at least 30 min. You can take your pulse, to make sure it's in the aerobic zone.
  3. Walmart carries them in the deli
  4. I used Miralax every day and it did the trick just great. Before that, I took 2 stool softeners every night. Are you using a whole capful of Miralax every day? You can't just use it periodically. You have to use it every day.
  5. Which flat out do you use for the pizza? Isn't there several of those flatout breads?

Where are these pictures? I don't see a link or anything?
  7. There is the lounge which is supposed to be for shooting the shyt. What is Dexter?
  8. When you go to my settings, you can change it in profile settings. Scroll down until you see member title. Now that you mention it, I think I am due for a change!!
  9. I love this thread! I can't wait to try some of these. Like I said, since they came out with those crock pot liners, I love my crock pot!
  10. You can change your title by your name to anything you want, in your settings. Pro pudding by body tech is a good pudding for an alternative to Protein drinks. The Vitamin Shoppe sells it, or you can get it at Amazon the cheapest if you have to get it online. there are also whey chips you can buy at vitacost.com. They are like little chocolate nuggets. I like to mix them in regular sf pudding or even eat it with milk like Cereal.
  11. If you want email alerts to threads or certain things, you have to change it in your settings. I get emails only when someone "likes" one of my posts. I turned off all the other email alerts because I was getting too many.
  12. Sorry, I thought this was the other rating Protein drinks thread. As for RTD, I like Premier, and muscle milk light. I like the powders because I find it easier to mix things in with them. I like to mix in fruit, or crushed ice, and some flavoring. when I blend it all up, it's like a Wendy's frosty. I use RTD when I am on trips and don't want to pack a blender. I think Isopure is gross. There's a good reason that a lot of people call it isopuke.
  13. I think Matrix is the best bang for the bucks, so to speak. It's only got 2 carbs and 120 calories. You can buy it at vitacost.com I love the orange cream. I have to add a little more torini's orange sf syrup to it though. I have the vanilla, choc. and the orange, and I don't think there is any aftertaste. It's made by the same company that makes all the nectar- Syntrax. I'm going to get the banana next.

Yeah, I really like it too. It's low carb, so I don't mind eating it in the evening if I want a snack. I don't use it as a meal anymore, cause I can eat anything now. I think the cheapest place to get it is Amazon cause their shipping is cheaper. If you have a Vitamin shoppe, they carry it. I don' t have one here though.
  15. After you click on your name, and you click on where it says My Settings scroll down to where it says profile information. I think the words are Member Title . fill it in with what you want.
  16. That's why they're called sliders. they slide right down and out like liquid. Solid protein like meat will be a different story.
  17. Click up to the right over on your sign in name. It says settings. If you click there, you can change it.
  18. Don't let yourself get constipated. This is a huge problem with us sleevers. You can take a stool softner every day, or use Miralax. I'm sorry you're having such a rough time. I hope they have some answers for you.
  19. Yep, I was given a straw in the hospital and have been using one ever since. No air for me!
  20. It does get better, honestly. It took me 5 years to get rid of all my fat clothes, because I was sure I was going to gain it all back. I finally just had to get rid of them because I could no longer store all the boxes that held from a 24 down to what I wear now , a 6 or an 8. It took years of shopping , looking at clothes and thinking it wouldn't look good on me, to finally trying on more flattering styles. I still won't have my picture taken, and I have been at goal for a very long time.( I got to goal with my band )
  21. you can change it in your settings and type in anything you want.
  22. I asked this awhile ago and they helped me get that fixed. Which browser do you use? Most browsers have spell check in them and a red line will appear when something is spelled wrong. Send a message to Ken in Admin. or Alex, board owner. He is the one who helped me get that feature turned on. I freak out wondering if I spell things wrong, and this is a big help.
  23. Let's add babybell light in there too. It's made by the same people as laughing cow. And yes, I do eat crackers, I like Kellogs multi grain crackers.
  24. I never took one single thing before surgery, and I didn't have to be on clear liquids or any type of pre op diet.
  25. I take it in the morning. You're not supposed to take it within 2 hours of calcium or iron.
