Feel it Same here but i ended the madness - Hope this helps I am a chef so cooking is easy and this double cooking was to much even for me - So i made it easy for myself 1. Go online to amazon and get Food Prep containers - 2. Then i just make my meals 4 at a time so i dont have to bother with them on a daily basis, For example today i have made 4 shrimp meals and they are ready to go, All i have to do is warm them when i do the kids meals. It is hard and frustrating, I also let the kids eat out twice a week so That buys two days. I run my own business also so i get it all done ahead of time For example today i just made a batch of Japense Clear soup - They will eat it during the week and so will I - Already packaged in containers and ready to be just served out GOod luck and get organized and it will be a ton easier By these three items to make life easy 1. Soup pot - Only buy this commercial one the others do not have the insert pan https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NRX4D1C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 2. Slow cooker steamer easy for all of you tons you can do with it https://www.amazon.com/Crock-pot-SCCPCCP350-SS-Programmable-Casserole-Stainless/dp/B01FJPS24G/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?keywords=Slow+cookers&qid=1575832511&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzQlhUSkFRQVU5MkVEJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMzY1NjM0MTFFT0pTWUFFMUYzTSZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNjAyNTE4MUJZT0ZLMVBFSUlWSSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU= 3. Take advantage of your “honeymoon” period. It gets much harder to lose or set healthy eating habits once it ends.

I have never had it myself, but had a friend with it after a big abdominal surgery. I would make sure to bring this up with your Dr. to ease your mind.

    When eating...

Does anyone else have an "issue" with the fact of seeing their food and having trouble believing you can't finish it all? Maybe it's just me? I see food(even the smallest amount ) and I'm like "wait .. I've never been able to not finish what's on my plate... This is weird to me... And it feels abnormal".. hard to explain [emoji43] Sent from my moto g(7) supra using BariatricPal mobile app

This has become too much! PLEASE HELP

You shouldn’t need to cook seperate food. The whole family should be able to eat the same healthy meals. The main difference is that you will be eating smaller meals with less carbs. What are you eating that makes it so difficult?

This is an individual sport. Don't worry about how much other people are losing or at what rate. Stick to your plan as much as you can and forgive yourself if you make an error. If you do make an error, go right back on your plan. You may need to track or tracking may make things harder You may want to weigh yourself daily or you may find it frustrating You may hate working out or find out you actually love something you have never tried before People will probably treat you differently and some of your relationships may change You may want to keep your surgery a secret or you may want to start a blog about it You did this for yourself, and you're in charge. Reading about other people's experiences is helpful, but ultimately your experience will be your own. Enjoy the fun things along the journey like fitting into smaller sizes. There really is no final goal, this is a lifelong journey with ups and downs.

    Count down...

I'm so happy that I found this place.....wahoo. I am 10 day to my revision From lab band to sips. So here's my story an I'm stickin to it lol. In 2005 I got my LB. My HW ever was 340 SW 270 LW 215 My CW 232 Because I've been on my per-OP for a week. Last week was 247.8 My first yr out I got to 215 My band was awesome.I had hit the sweet spot an life was amazing. Then in 2017 I got rear ended at a stop light an it broke my neck in 5 places an my back in two. Plus it tweaked my LB. I had to have it emptied. Never found my sweet spot again. [emoji26] My weight has bounced all over the place for the last 14 yrs. So I started doing research an decided I needed something with malabsorption. Cuz I really cant eat that much for the pass 8 yrs I have been at 236ish. I am very grateful for my LB. It has helped me to never see 340 again. But alas I must move on an get rid of the last 100lbs. I’m on day 6 of my preop liquid diet. Things I have learned. Liquid in means liquid out. Be aware. Chicken broth makes this even worse! Don’t trust farts You’ll be tempted to cheat. Don’t do it. Find something else to distract you. Plan on hiding from people. It’s too hard to be around food. Stock up before your diet starts. It’s too are to be in the grocery store. Good luck!!!! You can do this!

    Not feeling full

This for sure!!! I am almost 22 months. I weigh measure and track everything that goes in my mouth!!! Here's something I wrote yesterday that gives food volumes and explains the diff between weighing and measuring! (I do both. I weight protein on a scale into a 1 cup measuring cup. My forever diet is 1c volume per meal and 60-80g of protein per day. They are two different things: Part A = 1 cup per meal and Part B = 60-80g protein per day. I need a measuring cup to make sure I satisfy Part A = no more than 1 cup per meal. I need a scale to know that I am actually taking in 60-80g of protein per day. Mikey, where are you?

Keep yourself occupied. Keep your mind off food. Plus I've been on shakes long term and doing great.. hardly think about food at all.. If I'm craving a little sweetness I'll have sugar free cordial or sugar free ice pops or a cuppa tea with Stevia; all the sweetness without the calories. Plus on black Friday I bought a Ps4 and spent like 3 hours just setting everything up; installing updates and playing games completely forgot about my tea time shake until like 9pm... Anytime you're alone or bored find something to Do that doesn't involve food... Netflix binges are great too
