Do you want my unopened vitamins?

Hi there, I bought a big supply of BariMelts and don’t love them. I know a lot of other people do, so if you would like these I’ll sell them to you below retail value. I already sold the calcium to someone — they paid me over Venmo and I shipped them the pills. All remaining vitamins are unopened. Here’s what I have: 1 bottle of Biotin (retails for $14.99.) 5 bottles or iron + vitamin C (retails for $19.99.) 1 bottle of b12 plus (retails for $19.99.) 1 bottle of B1 (retails for $14.99.) 5 bottles of multivitamin (retails for $22.99.) Message me if interested and we can work out the logistics. Thanks!

    Not hungry

enjoy it while it lasts - hunger comes back for the vast majority of us, and then it gets a lot more challenging to stick to the plan. My hunger came back after about five months. It varies - anywhere from a couple of months up to a year or so out. There are a few lucky souls whose hunger never comes back, but for most of us, it eventually does...

Congrats on 90 down! I’m years out. I had to dial in my weight loss calories and macros using my food app. If you are interested in how to dial it in, let me know. It will be specifically to where your body starts losing weight.

I'm on both sides lol I had VSG, almost no restriction felt on most foods and dump more than most bypassers I've encountered, mostly from random things including proteins but not pastry 😳 & still lost very slowly.I've decided to work with the hand I was dealt, not against it. You can find your sweet spot and accomplish great things. And the grass is always greener where you water it Good luck 💜

My sleeve was my first surgery ever as well! The best advice I can give is just make sure to be compliant with the doctors, nurses, and the plans they lay out for you, both in and out of the hospital. Don't be afraid to ask questions, but follow their advice and instructions as best you can, because they'll be the ones to guide you through the experience.

Thank you :-) So empathise! Had another one I didn’t give in to the previous week. Drove myself to central Newcastle for a specialist appointment. Wasn’t without tension finding it, parking and getting done what I had to get done and really felt I deserved a ‘reward’. In my consultancy road warrior days used to regularly treat stuff picked up from service stations as somehow lesser calories cos I didn’t have much choice of places to grab food. So nearly swung into the McDonald’s that day, but pictured the nutrition charts and swigged down the drink instead. Starting to trust myself more :-)

    Getting closer to a decision

@catwoman7 thanks for explaining some of the things you did pre-surgery and how they helped; and well done on your weight loss .... it's really helping reading a little of others experiences @GradyCat congratulations on the weight you've lost since surgery; and that's so encouraging to read that the surgery has helped you with the emotional eating as well; and to know i'm not alone in wondering regarding the hunger compared to emotional eating issue. Thanks for what you've shared @Orchids&Dragons thanks very much for your reply here. Definitely not something to do as a first option. i've done the loss, maintain, regain thing ........ a number of times. I've read some of the stories of sabotage after wls, and this is definitely something i want avoid, and to try and sort through before the surgery and find ways to reduce that happening. So working on my head, and finding new coping tools; that will then help with the surgery (as another tool) seems to be the direction I need to be taking

Hi there...You are under a lot of stress and my heart goes out to you, my one and only son had medical issues as well growing up which entailed a lot of ICU stays in many hospitals, some close to home and some far away from home, so I can relate just a little because your load is much larger. This is just a thought because I am totally not in your shoes honey but you know when we get on airplanes and they go over the drill and tell us if an emergency happens, even if we have kids we are to put on our oxygen mask first before securing it on our kids because if we cannot take care of ourselves first then we are no good to our children...so try your best to take a little time for yourself and regroup, prepare some healthy snacks and make food that you can get to quick and not make the worst choices, you went through a lot to have surgery and you deserve to be healthy and feel good too. Make a meatloaf, bake some chicken, (food that you can get to quick and heat in the microwave) buy protein bars, pre-made protein shakes etc. that you can just throw in your purse when on the go taking your daughter to the hospital...I know it's hard but take care of you so you can give the best care to your children. Our children mean the world to us and we would rather endure their pain if we could switch places, but mommy please take care of you first (it may sound selfish, but it's really not) so that you can have the strength to care for your babies. I think you did the right thing my reaching out on the site because we get you and understand...if you mess up and eat something bad it's ok, we are all imperfect humans and you are aware of it so you are to be commended considering what you are going through. You will get a lot of good advice here Take care of you and your kids and we are here for you ((Hugs))
