Absolutely...stalls & patience. However, I look at stalls now as a way for my body to catch up to the weight loss~ I find it’s important to think about what our bodies are going through~ I already have some excess skin, however, I find that it’s not quite as bad after a stall. (Or maybe that’s just hope lol) Try not to focus on the scale, do NOT weigh yourself everyday, or several times a day! Stay focused on your path and new lifestyle, and improvements- keep moving forward! Don’t forget to do your measurements, as well! Often, the scale won’t be moving, however, inches will!!! (Woot woot!!!) My daughter keeps showing me pictures from last year, or sometime in the past to help me keep things in perspective....because I KNOW how much I have lost, etc., however, I still see myself as before- it’s difficult to let reality set in, I guess! I think we all agree that this place helps as well..no matter what you’re going through, whether it’s tailbone pain rubbing on your butt skin, the reactions of others, etc...you are NOT alone! Most of all...enjoy the process and the new you!!! ~xo~ Oh, and being able to sit at a booth or normal sized chair with arms on it without worrying about what I like to call “suck & tuck”, PRICELESS!!! Or, worry about if the chair will cling to you as you get up, making the dreaded scraping noise, while everyone turns to look at you. Keep going...and LIVE!!!

    My weight loss journey

My English isn't good if you don't understand anything tell me and I rephrase it [emoji28][emoji28] The hardest part was at the beginning to learn when to stop eating, because with less of 1 oz of food I was full and vomit if I eat a little more. The easiest is to buy clothes now🤣🤣🤣🤣. Well I think is not easiest part, but when you start to feel better, physically, your self esteem. My pre diabetes and my high blood pressure dissapeared, you feel better. I think people treat me the same, some think I make a good decision, others I feel are waiting me to fail. But I hope to have enough discipline to keep doing it well. You have your surgery done? Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

I guess it’s kind of nice to see that I am on track with everyone psychologically :) I can’t wait until I am at least 6 months out.

    ANXIETY

Sure it's normal. It's a big deal. It's a major surgery and it's going to have a big impact on both your immediate future and the rest of your life. Take a deep breath . . . you've got this!

    Cigna (Recent Apporval)

I had surgery Monday. This particular plan through Cigna does not require any time period of medically managed visits for nutrition or weight loss and is accurate per the page I posted. I was approved first go within 3 days.

    Puréed foods

I just pureed what I made for the family. A roast puréed with the juice was amazing! Cooked carrots were good too!

    The thirst is real!!

I had RNY a week and 2 days ago. I’m so thirsty ALL THE TIME. I know I’m not dehydrated because I hardly ever stop drinking. I’m not currently taking any vitamins. Could I be deficient? My dr. never mentioned anything about vitamins after surgery.
