Yes take the horse and everything else too. You do this for YOU. no one else. Proud of you. I’m 2 1/2 months post op and it’s the best thing to heal yourself. He will figure it out or not that’s not your problem

I can 100% relate! I wish I could have lost a pound for every time my husband told me if I just ate right and exercised that I wouldn’t need surgery!! Then I REALLY wouldn’t have needed the surgery - lol! I had been thinking about it for YEARS and I always let him talk me out of it (stupid on my part). This time I did all the pre-op appointments and even scheduled my surgery before I told him about it. My surgery was on 10/10 and I will say he has actually been pretty good about it. I really hope your husband steps up too! My reply to my husband one time was “keep it up and I’ll lose 340 lbs REAL FAST!” He knew I was talking about him!

Hunger is an odd thing, I was getting hungry a lot more, then I started with the Intermittent Fasting (IF) and the hunger went away. This weekend I stopped with the IF because it's a celebratory weekend for my wife and I, and today, trying to get back into my typical routine, I'm hungry already when I'm usually not. Look for things to swap, that creamer, is it sugar free and low cal? If not, that's something to swap out for a better option. Chips... find the veggie chips, again not "good" for you, but "better" than corn and potato chips. If your protein levels are high, it doesn't matter where you are getting them from. What I don't see here, is your water intake. Water is super important. The human body will not process fat correctly or efficiently if it does not have enough to perform it's normal day to day. If you aren't getting upwards of 128 oz of water a day, I highly suggest doing so.

I think everybody is different. I was sleeved on Thursday the 8th. It will be a week in 2 days. I am currently down 9 but i was also up almost 14 since surgery due to gas and liquids. For me to be back at the same weight i went into surgery i need to drop another 4 pounds, and then i can count loss from there. I am not too worried about it and everybody loses differently. I am just glad that i am mobile, was able to return to work and have had virtually no pain since i woke up from surgery. I do have the gas issues, and pressure but each day it is getting better and that is what is important. Now, you said you were weak. That is very concerning. You also said your doctor said to only eat if hungry. Also concerning, and maybe a misunderstanding. I do think you will need to get all your liquids in even if not hungry so you stay hydrated and don't end back up in the hospital for hydration. I have found that constant sipping every few min for now has allowed me to reach my daily goal for the first time yesterday. That will be my plan, because then once i am over goal and such by 8 pm i can lay off the liquids lol unless i am thirsty. I recommend reaching back out to your team to clarify the instructions, and do all that you can to keep hydrated so you don't get sick.

Tell him Thank you for showing his 'True Self' yet again. He has toldvyou before exactly wjat he thinks about you snd your weight...what are You waiting to hear from him??? There's nothing that you can do or try to do to make him acknowledge this decision of surgery. Focus on your surgery and then as you heal...make time to push him out of your life along with the carbs you don't need. He's not supporting you, so why keep him around?? He sounds like people who want to see you fail and that is no longer an option. Focus on yourself, stay Prayed up and stop worrying about him. Live...Love...Laugh [emoji3]

    These shakes, omg

Thin out the protein drinks with Fairlife Milk. Or as others mention, mix with coffee and tea, make frappacinos out of them. Love bananas and cream in coffee and also love chocolate with SF peppermint torani for holiday coffee, also vanilla or the caramel with sf pumpkin spice torani is remarkable!

I'm 1 will out from surgery. I'm doing well except I'm very weak. My surgeon said only eat if hungry. I'm never hungry! I eat yogurt, protien enhanced jello, protein shakes and strained soup. Was just able to drink water today without pain. Loosing 9 lbs in a week seems extreme. I just have no appetite! Is anyone else having this issue?
