Another May 14th checking in. I miss my dark chocolate but I have to admit that I’m really not that hungry anymore. I just wish I had more energy. Less than 900 calories a day is taking it’s toll.
Happy to report that everything went well with surgery! I did struggle a little bit in recovery with low blood pressures and they were concerned I might be bleeding internally, but things perked back up after a few hours and IV fluids. Very little pain fortunately. Walking is very helpful. I’ve started my fluid challenge and am doing really well getting the fluids down. Need to work on breathing into the spirometer; that has been tougher. All in all I’m feeling very good. Hope everyone else who is having surgery now is feeling the same!
Hang in there. Day 2 was the worse for me and I had a huge headache, was nauseous and seriously tired. Today is day 3 and I am much better. The hardest thing for me now is not reaching for comfort food. It's years of bad habits so it will take time to change. PS do not give up. You are too precious and are worth it 🤗 Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
BigViffer, Awesome results!
I think, for me anyway....one of the bigger keys to increasing fitness and getting that stubborn scale to keep moving...is being very very active and picking challenging workouts. I think heavy lifting qualifies:)
I have been trying to get info on sleeve surgery from Dr. illans office directly and have not heard back. Does anyone know the cost going thru him vs the hospital?
We’ll both be starting our new lives before we know it! Waiting for the class to start now. Hoping everything goes smoothly as well. Will definitely keep everyone posted! [emoji16]
