Rash all over my upper body !
I got a rash too. But I left the hospital with it, they think I had a reaction to the sticky film they cover your belly with when they do surgery. Mine stayed with me for two weeks...all gone now. I was sleeved May 14 and I am happy to say that I am almost in Onederland! Weighed in at 200 lbs this morning! I was 250 at Christmas, 232 when I began my pre-op diet and 226 the day of surgery...color me happy!

I feel so down
I think a pound a day is fabulous! Take a picture of your face, then take one in a week. You will freak at how different just your face looks. Mine looks like it shrunk! Good luck and take heart...you are on an amazing journey.

Any MAY sleevers???

Any MAY sleevers???
I am sorry you are not getting the care you need from your nutritionist, that must be very frustrating for you. I just want to say that Oprah is not a good source of information on diet and nutrition, and certainly not for anything concerning real science. The truth is you will not change your metabolism forever unless you burn out your pancreas and it doesn't produce insulin anymore. Humans are built for homeostasis, which means our bodies naturally try to compensate for the things we do to it. It always tries to go back to default settings. You are fine, your metabolism will not go in reverse. Think about it this way...when humans were only hunter gatherers we often went long times without protein and most of human existence was agrarian, where we ate mostly what we grew. You are going to be fine. Do the best you can, think of food as fuel, pay attention to your body, trust yourself, put as much wholesome food into your body as you can and don't forget to hydrate!

Any MAY sleevers???
I’m happy for you! My program won’t let me have beef for 6 months! But going to soft foods from liquids will be very welcome!

Any MAY sleevers???
Not even comparable and I've had both. Gallbladder surgery made me nauseous on the way home from the hospital. But I did just fine with my C-sections. This is nothing compared to C-section recovery, which is way, way worse in my opinion. You've got this!

Is it bad that I just don’t want to try losing weight again?
Yes! That yo-yo is exactly why I got my surgery

I swore it wouldn't be me
Did you try protein water? That might help, also maybe take super small sips.

Wow! That seems like a lot of time. But I know everyone has a program designed just for them. Congrats! You are almost there!
