    Clear liquid diet pre-op...

Are you saying you're just having to do a single day of a liquid diet before your surgery? Cause if so then my tip is to say suck it up buttercup. Most of us had to do two weeks of this crap.

I think it's Soo funny. At my biggest he said " are you sure your not too big for the toilet ?"( Not being mean genuine question as my butt was bigger than the toilet lol" Kids are super honest and don't say things just to make you happy so I believe him over my friends who I think are just complimenting me as friends do lol Today he said : These days your just so little. I'm a super big boy now but your getting so cute and little. A few days ago he said Your tummy is getting tiny mummy should I make you something to eat out of my play Dough? I'll take that as a compliment as my tummy was huge lol Has your kids said anything?a Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk

    Going on year 6

Haven't posted in a long while. I am approaching 6 years post op. I have had lots of ups and downs. Generally I am pleased and I have not put weight back on. I was about 350 prior to surgery and I float in between 160 and 170 pounds. Eating is still a struggle but its something you learn to deal with. I hope everyone is doing well and receiving the support that is needed. If I can help anyone the way that I was helped and supported by this forum, I would gladly help.

Hi, Your sister is likely correct. Had that same issue when I was younger. You can also place yourself in the f zone too. My advice is to communicate more, be bold make a move here and there on a guy you're into. Work on your self esteem and, or confidence. Many of us dont really figure out dating. And many of the guys that are looking for more than one thing get labeled as nice and shoved aside for the semi charming jerk etc. Try to be patient as you look around for what is out there.

    Annoyed at Surgeon post Op

My doctor told me to expect an average loss of 10 pounds per month. He also was clear that was an average and that each person is different. You reference a 45 pound loss. How much of that is post op? Looks to me like you are above the “average”.

    Nothing Tastes Good!

I was so glad to see this post because foods like yogurt and cottage cheese that I used to love taste off to me. I was wondering if this was normal. I'm still in the soft food phase so am still eating a lot of soup. I'm so curious to know why my tastebuds have turned against me.
