I'm drinking my cleanse mix up as I type.   I'm probably going to go off of the cleanse next week, I have a wedding to attend on Saturday, so I'm hoping to look extra sexy. I'll also see an ex boyfriend at the wedding (its his nephew that is getting married),

My menu is pretty boring, so I'm really not going to post it. Its basically a "Master Cleanse/Lemonaide Diet". My DH is doing it to clean out his arteries, etc, so I'm supporting him and doing it with him. Your supposed to do the cleanse for 10 days, or up to 40 and beyond. There is NO WAY that I can do it beyond 10 days, and not sure if I can hang for 10 days, but giving it a try.   The cleanse consist of:   10 oz of water - purrified only or spring 1/2 fresh organic lemon (or regular lemo

Okay, I admit it, I was nervous, scared and anxious to get my first fill. I can't believe how wonderful the nurse was.   My doctor has my fills done by the radiology dept at the hospital right next to his office. I got my fill from a Dr. Dennison. He was so nice. Anyhow, he found my port very fast, but did have some problems sticking me, the port kept moving. He first cleaned me with some alchohal, then stuck me with some novocaine (sp), and numbed me up. He finally started my fill, ve

I haven't posted my menu lately, just too busy to even get online. My husband is doing a cleanse, so I decided I would do it with him. So I started it yesterday, is completely liquids, no food.   I have my first fill today, I'm so excited. My doctor requires liquids for 5 days after a fill, so I thought it would be a good time to do my cleanse. I'm hoping to lose a little weight with the cleanse too!   I will post later about my fill experience.   I did make it to the gym 5 times las

I'm now focussing on what I can accomplish durring my 2nd month with the band. I am focussing more on EXERCISE and not weight loss durring this month. So, with that said, I am staying off the scales! The scales are a serious weakness for me, But I'm trying to get my mind right and just stay off of them for awhile. What I really want to focuss on is exercise.   I was to get up this AM to exercise, however, I forgor that my daughter has flute lessons tonight, and so on Mondays, I'll be exercisin

209 this morning! I'm 4 weeks post op, and Im on my way to 199!!!!! Although I've been at 199 so many times before, I'm looking forward to being there again, and even more to breaking it! I can't wait to get under the 190's - this is something I'm never able to do.   I get down to the 190's, then gain back up to over 200, than back down to the 190's, back up to 200's.   This time, I know I will get there, so it is so exciting. What an incredible journey I'm on!   So here goes my countdown

I'm loving the new tool. I do have a few concerns, I'm not eating much, I'm struggling to get my protein in, and working hard on drinking enough water - its tough!   I just cannot eat more without getting sick! This morning, I made an 8 oz protein shake, could only drink 1/2 - I was about to vomit even thinking about drinking more - protein taken in about 10!   My menu yesterday -   Bfast 1 fried egg with cheese - ate about 3/4 lunch 1/2 cup of cottage cheese dinner 1/2 cup of refrie

Okay - I admit it, I weighed this morning. Only because I felt skinnier, and my DH told me I looked skinnier. So I decided to "test" the scales. I was happy to see that they have dropped 5 lbs since last Monday. I weighed in at 210.8. I'm almost to the 40 lb mark! But, More exciting than that, I'm almost out of the 200's - I'm headed to onerland!   I'm feeling good these days, feeling more confident and still I have a lot of restriction.   Menu yesterday   Bfast - poached egg with

Yesterday marks my 3 weeks post op. I've lost weight, I've lost inches and I feel pretty good. My port side is still sore, it is actually has a slight burning pain today. But not too misserable.   I went to see my gynocologist and told her I had the lap band surgery, she was pleased. She has seen great progress from people. I also weighed 214 on her scales, with my jeans on and I feel constipated. So Naked, I might weigh less:clap2: .   One problem I am having is I am waking up extremely ear

This might seem a little weird, however, it made me feel so good so I believe it is a NSV.   I was sitting at the red light yesterday, and I could feel someone looking at me, and I turned to the left, and there are these 2 young boys hitting on me. The driver was practically hanging out the pasenger window trying to get my attention.   Now, I'm a very happily married woman for 19 years, but let me tell you, it felt good to have these 19 yr old boys flirting with me. I know they would have
